Entrepreneur, Jacqueline Kleips' Favorite Holiday Memory

My favorite holiday memory is of finishing my school exams getting to sleep in while my parents slaved all day in the kitchen to prepare a feast. My mom made fresh pumPkin pies and glazed carrots. My sister made a ham with apricot pineapple glaze along with her mini pecan tarts, my other sister made her cranberry pineapple relish, while my Dad made a slow cook tasty gravy, hand mashed potatoes along with a prime rib and fresh horseradish. Everything tasted delicious because it was made with love. Jacqueline Kleips defy ur age Creating distribution channels for ageLOC - natural supplements and skincare infused with "gene based science" to help you look, feel and grow younger naturally

Holiday Cranberry-Pecan Cheese Ball 1 8-oz pkg cream cheese 1 cup chopped Granny Smith apple 2 tbsp honey 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon 1/2 cup chopped pecans 1/2 cup dried cranberries Mix everything but cranberry & nuts until well blended. Chill 1 hour & then form into ball. Coat with a mixture of the pecans & cranberries. Serve with graham crackers..

Shannon recalls "This one was my favorite  growing up..." Butterscotch Squares 2 eggs 1 cup brown sugar 3/4 cup butter Bring the above to a slow boil on medium heat, stirring constantly for two minutes. Cool the mixture and then add the following: 2 1/2 cups of graham cracker crumbs 1 1/2 cups of shredded coconut 1 1/2 cups of crushed walnuts 1 teaspoon vanilla 2 cups mini colored marshmallows Mix well parentheses hands work best! Parentheses press mixture into a 13 x 9 pan buttered. Top with... 1 (12 oz) package butterscotch chips 2 tbsp peanut butter Melt the chips in a double boiler & add peanut butter. Cool & cut into squares. Makes approx 32-2 inch squares.

White Chocolate Peppermint Bark One of my favorite holiday recipes is this white chocolate peppermint bark! My grandmother and I used to make this on Christmas Eve every year and it has become a tradition in the family. The white chocolate and peppermint combine to make a delicious Christmas treat that instantly puts me in the holiday spirit! The best part is that it’s super easy to make and comes togethe with only three ingredients. It also doubles as a great last-minute Christmas gift! Ingredients: 1 cup of candy canes, crushed 2 pounds of white chocolate Peppermint

Butterscotch Squares 2 eggs 1 cup brown sugar 3/4 cup butter

Cool & cut into squares. Makes approx 32-2 inch squares.

Directions: 1. Crush the candy canes. The easiest way to do this is to simply toss them in a plastic and crush them with something heavy you have around the kitchen. 2. Once the candy canes are crushed, melt the white chocolate in a double boiler (or melt it in the microwave if you’re in a hurry!) 3. Once melted, combine the crushed candy canes and chocolate. If you’re using peppermint extract, add a ½ teaspoon at this point. 4. Line a baking sheet with parchment or wax paper, then pour the mixture in. 5. Refrigerate for 45 minutes, or until firm. 6. Once it’s firm, remove from the fridge and break the bark into pieces.

Gingerbread Cheesecake Dip Ingredients:Butterscotch Squares 1 pack of cream cheese (8 oz) 2 eggs 4 oz Cool Whip 1 cup brown sugar ¼ cup brown sugar cup butter ¼ cup powdered 3/4 sugar 3 tablespoons molasses 1 tsp ground ginger 1 tsp ground cinnamon Cool & cut into squares. Makes approx 32-2 ½ tsp nutmeg inch squares. Graham crackers or something sweet for serving Directions:

From the Publisher If you’re hosting guests for Christmas or looking for a small treat to bring to a friend’s gathering, this is the recipe for you! This one is also easy to make, yet so delicious! I make this dip every year since it’s such a hit and everyone is always begging for the recipe by the end of the night.

1. Add the cream cheese to a mixing bowl and beat for about 1 minute, or until smooth. If you’re not using an electric mixer, the mixing may take a bit longer. 2. Mix in the sugars and molasses and beat for another minute or so. 3. Pour in the spices (ginger, cinnamon, and nutmeg) and mix well. 4. Add in the cool whip, mixing until combined. 5. Chill until ready to eat! Serve with graham crackers.
