UTGOING Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte took her oath as the country’s 15th vice president at the San Pedro Square in Davao City Sunday, June 19, 2022. Duterte was sworn into office by Supreme Court As-

sociate Justice Ramon Paul Hernando ahead of her formal assumption as vice president noontime on June 30, 2022. In attendance was President-elect Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. and his family. Also present to witness the oath-taking was Duterte’s mother Elizabeth Zimmerman and father incumbent Pres.
