RESIDENTS of Cotabato City who are yet to receive first dose of vaccines against the novel coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) have to wait for new vaccine supplies from the Department of Health. The city health office has announced Friay that those who wish to take the first jab of vaccines must pre-register via online list up. “All those who have pre-registered online under the Priority Groups A1, A2 and A3 will receive text schedule of inoculation once additional supplies arrive,” the city health said in an FB post. Earlier, in its bid to maintain physical distancing among aspirants for anti-COVID-19 vaccination, the Cotabato City Inter-Agency Task Force on COVID-19, through the office of the city health services, has launched on-line registration. “Basically, this is to prevent the spread of COVID-19 virus,” said Dr. Floyd Caoagdan, city health office spokesperson on anti-COVID-19 vaccination.

KORONADAL CITY – Mayor Antonio Bendita of Surallah, South Cotabato has vowed to terminate local government employees who refuse to be vaccinated against COVID-19. Bendita said the members Interagency Task Force on COVID-19 have agreed that local government unit (LGU) workers must all be vaccinated. “A great deluge looms large before us in the form of the Delta variant, which is more potent and highly transmissible,” Bendita told town employees during last Monday’s flag raising ceremony. He stressed that LGU workers "must serve as models for the rest of their constituents." Unlike the other COVID-19 variants, Bendita noted that Delta variant “can infect others in seconds through airborne transmission.”

BARMM rescues IPs duped to join Army
