(English for Speakers of Other Languages)
ESOL courses are completely free if you are aged 16-18.
Whether you’re brand new to the English language, or you need to develop your skills in order to communicate better, there’s a course for you at Milton Keynes College. We have courses specifically for people under the age of 19, where you will learn in classes
Courses
with people your own age. All of our classes are led by multi-lingual tutors, and involve speaking, listening, reading and IT skills. You will also be supported to progress onto a full time study programme on successful completion.

Entry Requirements:
There are no formal qualifications required to start the course but you will have an assessment of your level of English before you start.
ESOL is a great way to prepare for further studies. Your new-found abilities and confidence will help improve future job prospects. Upon finishing this course, you will gain a NOCN ESOL nationally recognised qualification.

Highlights Course
Our students go on trips out into the community as part of their skills development on their course.
Cultural celebrations for religious holidays are organised and hosted by our students to celebrate our diversity.
Students also have the opportunity for work experience placements with a local festival in Milton Keynes, such as a music festival, food festival or art exhibition.
