Social Sciences A Level Pathway On this Pathway you will study three A Level subjects for two years. The Social Sciences Pathway includes Psychology A Level and Sociology A Level. The third choice is yours from the additional subjects list. One of the best parts about working in the Social Sciences is the opportunity to make a positive impact on society. A Level 1 - Psychology Psychology complements a range of other subjects, such as sociology, biology, anthropology, or even business. On this course, we’ll give you an introduction to the different approaches in psychology: from cognitive and biological, to behavioural and evolutionary psychology. You’ll get the chance to explore fascinating concepts, theories, research studies, research methods, and ethical issues.

A Level 2 - Sociology Sociology explores the social world, including human behaviour, societies, cultures, and social structures. If you’re interested in understanding how society works and what influences people’s behaviour, Sociology is the perfect subject for you! On this A Level Pathway, we focus on developing critical thinking, analysis, and research skills. You’ll learn how to evaluate and interpret complex social phenomena and even challenge social issues and inequalities.
