Milwaukee Times Printing and Publishing, Co. is moving
Old Location
After more than 30 years in the same location, the Milwaukee Times Printing and Publishing, Co., as well as the Milwaukee Times Weekly Newspaper will be moving their offices from 1936 North Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Drive to 2238 North Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Drive. The move is part of a larger effort to make sure the legacy of the Times will continue for years to come. This started in August 2021 when the family of Times co-founder, the late Nathan Conyers, sold the Times to a new owner, local businessman and pastor of Trinity Missionary Baptist Church, the Rev. Harold Turner. During the past 7-8 months it became apparent that the staff, which had become more streamlined over the last few years, did not need to operate out of such a large building. The decision was made to move the offices to a smaller and more economical location to operate more smoothly and more

cost-effectively. The new location was chosen as it offered plenty of space as well as being located on King Drive. "It is very important to us to stay on King Drive, the heart of the Bronzville community," said owner Rev. Turner. The Times, which has been in operation for more than 40 years, has been located on King Drive for much of that time. The new location will allow the Times to stay in the heart of the community while allowing us to carve out a new future. "There are many big and exciting things happening in our community and this move will allow the Times to still be in the heart of all of it, while allowing us to grow and change for the future," said Rev. Turner. The Times will officially open its doors at 2238 North Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Drive on Monday, May 2, 2022, but will still be open to help customers during the transition period.
Brew City Cowboys hand out Easter gifts to those in need On Sunday, April 17, 2022, Brew City Cowboys celebrated Easter by giving out Easter baskets and free rides on their horses to the children at All Stars Sports Bar, 4001 W. Fond du Lac Ave. Founded in May 2020 by President Bennie J. Morris, Sr., and a small group of like-minded black cowboys. Morris used the example of Wisconsin-based Rawhide Youth Services, which provides residential programs for at-risk and troubled boys, as a similar path to the club's vision. But his mission for Brew City Cowboys is to help all teens, before they get into trouble.
