I Still Miss You I still miss you... Even though it’s only been a short while. Any time without you is way too long, as the years pass, as my loneliness grows. I still miss you... As the grief softens, you’ll be with me. I still miss you... As new memories are made you’ll keep me whole because you taught us to stand on our own, and I thank you so much for that. I still miss you... As our kids will always hear your sweet voice through our stories and memories of you. I still miss you... All the times I had with you are memories that I will always keep. You are gone, but I know it’s to a better place. You’ll never leave me— I know you’ll be around to soften my weak heart. Nanny... No words I write can say how I will miss you so much. I still miss you. I’ll love you always, Nanny Helen.

Acknowledgement

Perhaps you sent a lovely card, Or sat quietly in a chair. Perhaps you sent a floral piece, If so, we saw it there. Perhaps you spoke the kindest words That any friend could say; Perhaps you were not there at all, Just thought of us that day. Whatever you did to console our hearts, We thank you so much whatever the part.
