Hurricane Harvey

2 Associate Highlight: Brian Gordon

Our thoughts are with all those affected by the recent devastating storm, Hurricane Harvey. This natural disaster hits close to home, as our newest facility in Houston is directly impacted by the storm. The plant will remain shut down until the area is secure, which is unknown at this time. We are currently servicing customers from our Birmingham and Jeffersonville locations. Thankfully, our associates in Texas have all reported to be safe, but some have experienced extensive damage to their homes and had to be rescued to safety.

NORMS

The Mill Steel team gathered at Thorneapple Pointe Golf Course on August 26th for the 7th Annual Company Golf Scramble. The excitement was high as Mill Steelers piled into their carts and ventured to their starting holes. After a cool start to the morning, the temperature began to heat up quickly, as did the action on the course. A group of three teams started off strong with three under par scores. The scores were fairly close throughout the morning, but the champions eventually pulled ahead. The championship team comprised of, Mike Tomasiatis, Tyler Uhazie, Keith Sikkema, and Brandon Braun, cruised to an impressive six under par victory. The second place team of Troy Mossel, Theresa Rigoni, Megan Donovan, and Kaylie Newville, finished four under par at a score of 68. A group of four teams tied at an admirable three under par to round out the podium. Article By: Zach Lee
