Golf Scramble Recap Unfortunately, poor weather kept us from golfing on the 6th Annual Mill Steel Company Golf Scramble, but attendees were able to squeeze in a quick lunch and group photo before the weather got too bad. The event has been rescheduled for September 24th.
Mill Steel Building Products Continues Growth In July, Mill Steel announced an exclusive supply partnership with PPG, one of the largest coating companies in the world, to stock, market and sell DURASTAR® UL TRA-COOL® silicone-modified polyester (SMP) coatings. Durastar ULTRA-Cool coatings deliver a cost-effective blend of the exceptional ex terior durability required to protect metal siding, roofing and other building compo nents with an optimum balance of exterior gloss retention, chalk and fade resistance, and forming flexibility. These coatings incorporate infrared-reflective pigments that reflect solar heat to keep buildings cooler and reduce air-conditioning-related energy use. They are available in an array of colors to meet industry cool roof requirements. Mill Steel also expanded into new markets with the appointment of three commer cial experts; Chad Hull, Jeff Goode, and Mike Polansky. Chad joins Mill Steel as the Sales Manager of Architectural and Standing Seam Products. Hull will be instrumental in Mill Steel’s expansion to the painted architectural and standing seam markets. Jeff Goode and Mike Polansky join the Building Products commercial team as Account Managers to lead Mill Steel into the painted and corrosion resistant entry-overhead door and canopy markets. All three share the ability to build solid commercial rela tionships and deliver the same superior service Mill Steel prides itself on. As part of this expansion, a sales office was established in Atlanta, GA, where these gentleman will base their operati ons. Building Products Sales Manager, Heath Buller, says, “We are very excited to be expanding with such strong commercial talent. Their addition has without a doubt enhanced our building products team.” Article By: Amanda Allspach
