— It is interesting to know how you plan to combine your skills in obstetrics and gynaecology with management at the Kyiv Sports Centre.

— Combining clinical practice and administrative management is possible thanks to several interrelated approaches.

First, I strive to integrate patient-centred standards into the work of the centre, focusing on disease prevention and health maintenance of athletes, as well as the city’s children and adults.

Second, my experience as a practicing physician allows me to formulate policies based on the real needs of patients: optimising patient routing, accessibility of consultative services, and implementation of screening programs.

— What features of cooperation with other medical institutions in Kyiv help make diagnostics and treatment more effective?

— Municipal non-profit enterprise Kyiv City Clinical Hospital No. 18 is distinguished by structural integration and well-established interdepartmental relations, which directly affect the quality of diagnostics, treatment and rehabilitation. As a doctor of this institution, I see several key factors that make our work special and competitive within the city.

Coordinated internal branch network

Multidisciplinary consultations: regular joint discussions of complex clinical cases involving therapists, surgeons, neurologists, cardiologists, and other specialists increase the accuracy of the diagnosis and the effectiveness of the treatment plan.

— How did the success story of the Nasoloda brand begin, and what steps were decisive for its development? What do you consider most valuable from this experience?

— The history of the Nasloda brand began in 1997 — a special year for our family. It was the year our eldest son Vadym was born. And just two weeks later, the Nasloda brand was born. We often joke: “These are two children who grew up with us, changed us and taught us that true value lies in people, love and a common cause.”

We started as a family business: my husband was responsible for strategy and finance, and I was responsible for marketing, the team and sales. And family values still remain the basis of our work.

Our motto — “Live life with pleasure” — was never invented for advertising. It was born from our way of life: working with love, appreciating every moment and sharing warmth.

— What inspired you to create the Smart&Green residential complex and how do sustainable development and environmental solutions distinguish it from traditional residential projects?

— We were inspired by the desire to create a space where nature and modern comfort are combined,

and residents feel safe, comfortable and in harmony with nature.

Smart&Green is not just architecture, but a concept of life. It features large green areas, and we use environmentally friendly materials and implement energy-efficient solutions in construction. We have paid particular attention to the organisation of space: car-free courtyards, safe playgrounds, walking paths, cycle paths and communal recreation areas.

Smart&Green is an example of how a modern residential complex can be comfortable, environmentally friendly and cosy at the same time.

— As co-founder of the BRG restaurant chain, how do you ensure that each establishment is unique? How did the idea of combining steaks and desserts at Beef&Cake come about, and how did guests react?

— At BRG, we decided from day one: no copies or templates. Each restaurant is a separate world with its own character, atmosphere and taste. We carefully select the interior, music and even the aroma in the hall.

Beef&Cake is our signature restaurant, where we dared to combine two worlds of taste: juicy steaks and exquisite desserts. The idea seemed risky, but we saw it as a chance to surprise our guests and give

them a new gastronomic experience. We experimented with textures and aromas to find a balance between the richness of meat and the delicacy of sweets. The result exceeded our expectations: guests loved this combination and now return for those unforgettable impressions that arise when you allow yourself bold culinary experiments.

— What difficulties arise when managing several companies in different industries, and how do you overcome them?

— Managing different businesses is like steering several ships in a storm: each one needs attention and decisions must be made quickly and accurately. The most important thing I have learned is the art of delegating without losing sight of the strategic vision.

I am fortunate to have a gift for seeing the best in people and building a team based on trust and mutual respect.

There were times when we experienced serious crises and lost part of our businesses, but we always recovered. Valentin and I are truly like two halves joined together by God, and it was our faith that gave us the strength to rise again.

— What was the key impetus for creating the My Horizons educational space and network of kindergartens, and how do they combine modern teaching methods with Christian values?

— For us, “My Horizons” is not just another business project, but a service to children.

From the very beginning of our entrepreneurial activity, we have helped those who needed it most: children in orphanages, elderly people who were left

without a family. But “My Horizons” is on a different scale. This is God’s calling, a work that I do tirelessly and with great joy.

In both kindergarten and high school, we combine modern educational methods with Christian values. Our professional team cares about the quality of students’ academic knowledge, as well as about shaping the future generation of Christian leaders — happy, self-confident children who know that true strength lies in love and kindness.

— What role does faith play in your life and professional activities, and how does it inspire you to create and develop projects that benefit society?

— “Do everything you do with love” (1 Cor. 16:14) — this biblical verse guides me in life and work. Faith is my support and compass in every decision, in every project. It teaches us to see meaning even in the most difficult circumstances, reminds us that any work should begin with love and end with good.

The war became a huge test for us and for the country. We fed the military, supported the displaced, helped those who lost their homes. We brought in trucks of humanitarian aid, delivered cars to the front, batteries and generators. And in each of these actions there was faith — in God, in people, in victory, in the fact that His light will definitely overcome any darkness.

For me, every project is an opportunity to serve, it is a platform through which you can build the future and show the love of Christ. And I know: when faith is at the heart of everything, even the wildest dreams become reality.

odern Ukraine is going through difficult times, but even in challenging circumstances, there are always those who stand guard over justice. Lawyer Valentyna HRISHYNA is not just a lawyer with extensive experience, but a person who knows how to combine the cold logic of the law with a warm, humane approach. She has over two decades of legal practice behind her, hundreds of won cases and thousands of hours devoted to protecting people’s rights. In our conversation, she shared her professional journey, talked about the most difficult cases and explained why she is confident that change for the better is possible.

VALENTYNA HRISHYNA:

“THE LAW IS A TOOL THAT WORKS IF USED SKILLFULLY”

— Mrs. Valentyna, please tell us about your professional career.

— My path in law began with a love of words. First, I graduated from the Philological Faculty of Odessa National University named after I. Mechnikov, having received a degree in Ukrainian language teaching. However, life led me to a place where every word can decide a person’s fate — to the legal sphere. I received a diploma from the Law Faculty of Odessa National Law Academy, worked in the police, was engaged in arbitration management, and taught at the Institute for the Training of Professional Judges. This experience was invaluable — it taught me to think strategically, anticipate developments, and act decisively. Since 2010, I have been a lawyer and a member of the National Bar Association of Ukraine.

— What cases have been the most challenging for you?

— In my practice, there were many cases that required not only knowledge of the law, but also endurance and inner strength. Among them:

1. Military cases, when it was necessary to obtain discharge from military service, defend the right to proper financial support, claim documents of a deceased serviceman, which the military unit refused to provide, or return to service those who

were prematurely discharged for leaving the unit without permission.

2. Civil cases, where, it would seem, personal life turned into a legal battle: establishing the fact of living as one family without registering a marriage, dividing property, appealing inheritance certificates and even declaring a will invalid.

3. Criminal proceedings that gained loud public publicity. These are those cases when it was necessary to defend the client’s rights under pressure from the investigation and prosecutor’s office, and even fight against the unfair recognition of a person as guilty.

— Tell us about your most notable victories in court.

— For me, every case I win is not just a dry court decision, but a small human story with a happy ending. There have been cases when it was possible to divide the joint property of spouses in such a way that the client’s interests were preserved as much as possible. Illegal decisions of government bodies were successfully cancelled, criminal proceedings were closed when there was no evidence of a crime or the investigation was conducted with violations. There are dozens of such stories in my portfolio, and there are weeks or even months of painstaking work behind each of them.

— How do you see changes in the Ukrainian legal system in the near future?

— I am an optimist. I believe that we are moving towards greater digitisation of court proceedings: less paperwork means greater transparency and efficiency. Another important area is legal education for the population. When every Ukrainian clearly knows their rights and knows how to defend them, the whole system changes.

— What questions are you most often asked now?

— These are military cases, family conflicts, criminal defense, as well as appealing against illegal decisions of government bodies. Sometimes this is a combination of several areas at once, because life rarely fits into the narrow boundaries of one category of proceedings.

— What would you like to wish Ukrainians and your customers?

— Remember: the law is not an abstraction, but a real tool that protects you if you know how to use it. Do not be afraid to stand up for yourself. If you need help, contact me, I am always ready to listen, advise and act. My professional regalia are not only membership in the National Bar Association of Ukraine and over 20 years of practice, but also the trust of those who once found their lawyer in me.

ANATOLII KOLOMIIETS: «FOOTBALL IS NOT JUST A GAME, BUT A LANGUAGE OF UNITY AND STRENGTH»

You are appreciated for your sincere support of athletes. What, in your opinion, is the real strength that helps them achieve success?

The greatest strength is in trust and the feeling of a shoulder next to you. When an athlete knows that the team, the organisation, and the fans are behind him, he does more than seems possible. Sometimes a few sincere words after a failure weigh more than a cup. It is not only the technique that wins – the community that believes wins.

What does football mean to you personally?

This is life in miniature. There are victories and defeats, joy and disappointment, but the main thing is moving forward. In sports, as in life, you can’t stop: even when something doesn’t work out, you have to move forward and use every next chance.

What are the main tasks facing the Odessa Regional Football Association today?

To create a sustainable system for the development of football at all levels. Our task is to ensure that every child and every club has the conditions for development: access to training, modern infrastructure, and the opportunity to show themselves in competitions.

What results of the last period do you consider significant?

Firstly, the stable work of children’s and youth sections and record participation in the championships of Odessa and the region. Secondly, the expansion of mass football: we launched the District Championships, organised a Tennisball tournament and

the first foot volley tournament for the region – alternative formats that develop technique and attract new participants.

Thirdly, a strong amateur season with «golden matches» and bright finals – this revives the regional football map.

Children’s and youth football and inclusion – what are you doing here?

We are scaling up the competition for the U7–U17 age categories and introducing a festival format, where the main thing is development and equality, not the table. We are separately supporting inclusive sections: we have opened a second location for 25 children with special needs, we are transferring equipment to schools, and we are holding “Open Football Lessons”. Our task is for every child to find their place in the game.

Coach and referee education is the foundation of quality. What steps are you taking?

The Scientific and Methodological Committee systematically recruits groups for licenses «D» and «C», we hold free online meetings, share methodological materials. The Referees Committee has a School for Young Referees: weekly classes, round analysis, practice – we have 12 students and good testing results. Without qualified coaches and referees, there will be no high-quality football.

How does the ORFA support the veteran and social dimensions of football?

We host matches of the National Veterans Team, support veterans clubs - it’s about

continuity and respect. At the same time, we develop amp football: information campaigns, cooperation with the media and communities. For us, football is also about dignity and mutual support, not just about tournament points.

How do you see the potential of Ukrainian football and the role of regional associations?

The potential is great. Our children are talented and hardworking, and the region is a place where future leaders emerge. The task of the associations is to create conditions for development: from fields and infrastructure to personnel education and fair arbitration. We do not wait for “ready-made stars”, we help them grow.

etiana EKZARHO is a dedicated Ukrainian language teacher who has devoted her entire career to shaping young minds within the walls of her school. However, due to the war in Ukraine, she had to leave the country and continue working with young people from the occupied territories abroad so that they would not forget their native Ukrainian language.

Tetiana is originally from Mariupol. She faced an incredible challenge — to start all over again in a new environment, armed only with determination and resilience. Despite all the difficulties, she continues to work as a Ukrainian language teacher with children abroad and those who remained in the occupied territories. She remains steadfast in her dedication to preserving Ukrainian heritage.

— What were your impressions of working with children from occupied territories and abroad compared to your experience at school?

— Traditional Ukrainian schools offer a stable, familiar environment where most students have equal starting opportunities and challenges are more predictable (e.g., discipline issues or certain difficulties in learning the material). The teacher’s main focus is on the curriculum. Working with displaced children, students from abroad and from temporarily occupied territories requires teacher to have not only professional skills, but also empathy and psychological skills. Teacher acts not only as educator, but also as mentor, psychologist and friend who helps children overcome difficulties and adapt to their new reality.

— How were you able to preserve your identity with Ukrainian culture and language while working in other countries?

— The most important thing is to use the Ukrainian language constantly. This includes

communicating with family and friends, reading books, watching films and listening to music. Not only does this maintain my language skills, but it also reminds me of my roots every day. Every word spoken in my native language strengthens my connection to my homeland. Preserving my identity abroad is like a bridge between the past and the future.

— How do you find the motivation and strength to act, especially after leaving Mariupol with nothing?

— My motivation and strength are not something abstract. It is the realisation that I am responsible for my life, family, and country. I have always been guided by the words of Lina Kostenko: “I chose my own Destiny.” Even after losing everything, I did not lose myself.

— What challenges have arisen in your new projects abroad and how have they been overcome?

— Moving to another country and starting something new in wartime always means stepping out of your comfort zone. I faced a number of challenges that required not only

professional knowledge, but also extraordinary adaptability and inner strength.

In Ukraine, I worked in a clear, understandable system, where I had extensive experience as a teacher and manager. Here in Germany, I found myself in a completely new educational and legal environment. I am actively learning German to better understand the educational context and integrate into society.

— What advice can you give to other people who also find themselves in difficult situations, so that they don’t give up and keep going?

— During times of trial, it is important not to lose confidence in yourself. The first step is to accept your feelings: allow yourself to feel sadness, helplessness, or anger without judging yourself. To move forward, find a new goal, even a small one. And take care of yourself by restoring your physical and mental strength through sleep, nutrition, and hobbies. Make plans for the future, because it is an act of hope.

— Thank you for this timely question. Yes, geography and motivation are indeed evolving. Until recently, investors focused exclusively on “golden passports” dominated the market, but today we are seeing a conscious and comprehensive approach. Our typical client in the premium segment is a wealthy family aged 40–55, often from the IT or fintech sectors, or owners of international businesses. They are looking not just for an asset, but for a “resort for life” — a safe environment with a high quality of life, where they can work remotely while their children attend British or American schools in Cyprus.

— Our magazine is read by potential investors. What key trends in the premium real estate market will define 2025?

— I would highlight three macro trends:

“Smart and green” is the new standard of luxury. Demand has shifted from demonstrative high prices to intelligent investments. The buyer is willing to pay for modern energysaving technologies, solar panels, “smart home” systems and BREEAM/LEED certificates, as well as eco-standards for fire and moisture protection.

This is not only a matter of ecology, but also of long-term savings and comfort. In our Melrose Villas project, we laid down these principles from the very beginning: each villa is an autonomous ecosystem with innovative engineering solutions.

— You mentioned Melrose Villas. What makes this project unique for the market?

— Melrose Villas is the quintessence of all the current requests of our ideal client. We are creating not just villas, but the first of its kind premium private community in the heart of Limassol, where everything is designed for comfortable living 24/7/365.

— What is your forecast for the cost per square metre in the premium segment? And how can investors avoid making the wrong choice?

— In the mass economy segment and on the secondary housing market, prices have stabilised and even fallen by 1–2 points. In contrast, in the premium class, especially on the primary market in Limassol, we expect growth of 10–12% by the end of 2025.

The drivers are inflation in construction materials, a shortage of high-quality projects, and growing demand for properties in prime locations at optimal prices that are not inflated for effective investments.

— And one last question. What is your main piece of advice for someone considering Cyprus in 2025?

— Stop perceiving Cyprus real estate as just a “ticket to the EU.” View it as an asset for life and long-term investment in yourself and your family. Choose not on the basis of “cheaper”, but on the basis of “better quality and more promising”. The market has matured and now rewards those who think strategically. And it is open to precisely such clients.

— It would be interesting to hear your opinion on which technological innovations in the field of aesthetic trichology you consider most promising for the future development of the beauty business.

— In my opinion, we are only at the beginning of a major evolution in the field of aesthetic trichology. At the same time, diagnostic methods, rehabilitation protocols, and treatment approaches are actively developing. Among the innovations, the most exciting are the work with Janus kinase (JAK) inhibitors and technologies aimed at the cellular level, as well as new possibilities for laser and light therapy (LLLT). This is the real path to the future. However, I believe that the most promising direction is the development of beauty industry specialists themselves as experts in aesthetic trichology. After all, it is the masters who are the first point of contact for clients facing hair or scalp problems. At this stage, it is possible to detect disorders in time, correct processes and prevent more complex conditions or even eliminate them completely. Therefore, the role of aesthetic trichologists will only grow in the future.

— What do you consider to be the key factors for success for professionals in the field of aesthetic trichology in today’s market conditions?

— I believe that the key to success in our field consists of three components: knowledge, practice, and client trust.

First, a specialist must constantly learn and keep

abreast of new technologies and methods. Trichology and aesthetics are developing extremely rapidly, and what was relevant yesterday may be outdated today.

Secondly, practical experience is important. Only by working with real people can you understand all the nuances and learn how to combine theory with practice correctly.

And thirdly, nothing can be achieved without the trust of clients. After all, we work not only with hair or scalp, but also with people’s emotions and selfconfidence. The ability to build this trust, to be honest and consistent — this is what makes a specialist truly successful in today’s market conditions.

— And to conclude our conversation: what trends in the beauty industry do you think will be most actively discussed next year, and what opportunities will they open up for specialists in the field of trichology?

— I am confident that beauty through health will be the main trend in the coming year.

Today, we are entering the era of cosmeceuticals, nutraceuticals, integrative and holistic medicine. These areas are already shaping trends in the US and Europe and are gradually becoming a must-have for our market.

I am convinced that everything related to a healthy lifestyle, body restoration and an integrative approach to beauty and trichology will be in the spotlight. This is a new level of working with clients, where aesthetics are combined with a real impact on health.

— Mrs. Natalia, welcome to our magazine! Our readers are interested in learning about the current situation on the real estate market in Kharkiv.

— The residential real estate market in Kharkiv is currently in a difficult state, but at the same time remains active and dynamic. Despite the military circumstances, demand remains, especially for ready-made apartments in safer areas of the city and in the suburbs.

People are mainly interested in renovated apartments and houses suitable for living «here and now» – without additional costs.

The main factor driving the residential real estate market in Kharkiv is the transactions within the framework of the «eRecovery» program. This provides additional activity, the emergence of new contracts and supports domestic demand.

— In your opinion, what factors influence housing prices in Kharkiv?

— Government programmes, such as “eRecovery”, have a significant impact. They stimulate the market, as certificate and compensation holders are more willing to enter into agreements, especially in the segment of new or renovated properties. I personally am pleased that Kharkiv

residents, despite the difficult situation in Kharkiv, are buying homes in their hometown.

For many Kharkiv residents, buying an apartment or house is not just a transaction, but an act of trust and hope. It is a choice to stay, build a life and support a city that is going through difficult times. Every home is filled with history, memories and faith in a bright future. This is what makes the Kharkiv real estate market special: people are not just buying square metres, but a piece of their homeland.

Of course, this affects the growth of housing prices, and we have been observing this trend since the beginning of 2024.

— What do you think are the new trends or innovations observed in the Kharkiv real estate market?

— The city plans to rebuild residential neighbourhoods based on designs from an international architectural competition, demonstrating its commitment to creating modern and safe housing. Such initiatives will help to revamp Kharkiv’s image as a city open to innovation and sustainable development, which is important for attracting new residents, businesses and investors.

— What are the prospects for the development of the real estate market in Kharkiv in the near future?

— A gradual recovery of the market is expected, with an emphasis on safety, energy efficiency and attractiveness to investors.

At the same time, stable development requires ensuring safety, maintaining economic stability and stimulating investment in the city’s recovery.

— Finally, what advice would you give to those planning to invest in real estate in Kharkiv?

— First, work with professionals! Consult with trusted realtors and lawyers to avoid risks, properly execute the deal, and make your investment profitable. Secondly, carefully check the title deeds and permits to avoid legal problems. Thirdly, diversify your investments: consider different segments — apartments, houses, commercial properties — to reduce risks.
