Before I Can Build A Civilaztion, I Must First Upgrade My Tools Part 2
I want to to have a trade in laptop and replace it with a desktop precisely because of this versatility. Some of the newly released games can only run on the lowest of settings in my laptop; and most cannot run at all. I have been looking forward all summer long to joining SAS Captain John “Soap” MacTavish once again on another romp through global terrorist territory. I want to explore Renaissance Italy with Ezio Auditore da Firenze while assassinating shady politicians along the way. I want to see how Sonic the Hedgehog fares in his latest romp through a 3D world that recreates his past 2D adventures. And yes, I want to build up my Ottoman society from a simple farming community into a worldwide cultural and technological empire worthy of the title “superpower.” I can do all this under a strict budget if I make the switch to the desktop. Like any investment, it will definitely cost a pretty penny at the beginning; but it will be a very sound investment. The only extravagant purchase I’ll have to make is with a reasonably high-end motherboard that can accommodate high levels of processing power; after which, my desktop’s high-end lifespan is practically ensured for the next decade or so. Now if only I can find the best place to sell my laptop for cash online…
