The physicians on staff at Spine Team Texas know that neck and back pain should not be something an individual has to live with. As a spine-specialized center, Spine Team Texas encourages patients with pain lasting more than two weeks to visit a healthcare professional at their facility. Spine Team Texas has remained dedicated to their treatment philosophy for more than 11 years. Their philosophy is that spine care should be conservative whenever possible, reserving surgery for patients that fail to get extended spine pain relief or when medically necessary. The team of spine specialists offers a myriad of innovative, non-surgical spine care treatments. A critical part of their team is on-site, spine-focused physical therapy. When surgery is indicated or medically necessary, they offer minimally invasive spine surgery (MISS) techniques. They feel when surgery is indicated that minimally invasive spine surgery techniques should be instituted whenever possible.
Spine Team Texas has many philanthropies and oranizations they support in the community. They provide summer internships to aspiring medical profession students through the Southlake (CISD) Carroll Medical Academy. Other support includes: the American Heart Association, Polycystic Kidney Disease Foundation of North Texas, Neuroassistance Foundation of North Texas, Make-A-Wish Foundation of North Texas, and Wednesday’s Child Foundation of North Texas. Spine Team Texas has been recognized in many publications and journals for their excellence in neck and back pain care, such as Becker’s Spine Review Annual Spine Leadership Award-2013 and 2015; Becker’s Spine Review “Top Spine Surgery Practices to Know”; Fort Worth, Texas magazine 2015 “Top Docs” and D Magazine 2015 “Top Docs.” In addition to their Southlake office, Spine Team Texas has offices in Fort Worth-Alliance/Bedford/Rockwall/ Richardson/Allen.
“When you have back or neck pain for more than one-two weeks, seek the advice of a spine specialist. Don’t ever be afraid to get a second opinion and find a spine specialist (either surgical or non-surgical) who is part of a true, comprehensive team of spine specialists.”
