At the foot of the Bridger Mountains and minutes from National Forest access, this 40+ acre Bridger Canyon ranch is an end-of-the-road hidden gem. With rolling topography, rock bluffs, natural springs, ponds, meadows, aspen groves, and old-growth timber, it provides a sanctuary for dozens of wildlife species, including elk, moose, bear, bald eagles, and songbirds. The recently constructed mountain luxury custom home blends rustic and refined elements with timeless, clean lines, allowing the stunning views to take center stage.
The ranch’s owners have been dedicated stewards of the land, helping to carry on the legacy of conservation through wildlife-friendly fencing, weed management, and brush clearing, ensuring the continued preservation of this remarkable ecosystem.
This gourmet kitchen features reclaimed oak cabinets and countertopto-ceiling windows that provide uninterrupted views of the Bridger Range. Guests gather around the oversized, natural stone island, which is elongated parallel to the induction cooktop, double ovens, and paneled refrigerator. This setup accommodates a larger work surface, including a built-in butcher block and copper prep sink. The kitchen is designed for both artistry and function, with ample space for culinary creations and social gatherings.
The heart of the home is the massive double-sided, viewthrough wood fireplace that warms both the kitchen/dining area and the living room. The fireplace is a stunning mix of artistry and function, with various sizes and shapes of stones creating distinct ledges and nooks. Picture windows and glass doors frame the views as if they are natural works of art, providing a seamless transition between the outdoors and the living space.
Unattached, shared bathroom
The bonus/flex space offers a versatile area for various activities and needs. Equipped with a kitchenette, this room provides the perfect setting for casual gatherings, movie nights, or as a game room. Its spacious layout and large windows ensure plenty of natural light, making it an inviting and comfortable space. Located in the guest wing of the house, the bonus room offers privacy and convenience for cherished guests, allowing them to feel right at home while enjoying the stunning surroundings of the ranch.
Bridger Canyon offers a unique blend of seclusion and accessibility. The ranch’s location provides a national park-like setting to call home, yet it is only a short 10-minute drive to downtown Bozeman.

They charge 75.00/hour plus an admin fee and mileage.
Since we live here full time, we don’t use them on a regular basis. That said, they know the house and property well and what to do when we go out of town.
Little Sinkers: 406-585-7867
2 tanks, a settling tank and a dose tank. A good rule of thumb is to have the settling tank pumped every 3-5 years and the dose tank pumped every other time you pump the holding tank (the dose tank is pumped less because it’s mainly filtered water). The settling tank is first two lids closest to your house and the dose tank is the second set of two lids. If you tell the pumper which tank(s) you want pumped, he’ll know what to do.
One important note, the filter should be cleaned in the settling tank, you can request the pumper to do that for you when they pump the tank.
Last pumping was in November, 2023.
Propane
Madison River: (406) 388-8227
2x 1000 gallon tanks
Last fill was December 2023
Also, valve replaced between the two tanks on January 16, 2024
They monitor the tanks and fill as needed. We never have to call for service. They just show up. Usually around 1300.00 when they fill. We do it around 2 times per year. Maybe 3.
Pond
Pond Doctor: Kyle Jones (406) 579-6956
The pond requires treatments and cattail removal once a month in summer. June - September. There is a seasonal spring that runs through the pond from Spring through August or September depending on weather. Note: we have rights to the spring. It’s important to watch the creek that separates the large pond and lower smaller pond during spring if there is still snow and ice on the pond to prevent blockage and overflow at the upper pond. The lower pond has a spill over that runs down the seasonal creek and goes underground and back up to the creek on the neighbors house below. Same goes in Fall when the aspen leaves start falling into the pond. Clogs can happen in the creek. Must keep it clear. The property managers know to check the pond and streams making sure it’s all clear.
