ABOUT ME • I am a BA Product Designer currently studying at Nottingham Trent University. Through each project, I learned a lot of skills, such as Drawing Method Skills, CAD Skills, Material Analysis Skills, Model Making Skills, Product Analysis Skills.

My design idea is to incorporate the country's traditional culture into my new product because I respect culture. I firmly believe that culture is the origin of design, so while I was learning design, I was also learning the culture of various countries and races and applying them to my products.

With every project, I will learn from others. Only with an eye open enough to have design ideas.

Thank you đ&#x;Œą

UPCYCLING - BRIEF ● You are required for this project to develop and produce ONE fully refined, final product that reuses household packaging or everyday waste material. Your final product must be something wearable (i.e. clothing, hats, jewellery, shoes, bags etc).

You may include other components in your final product, however, you must ensure that the majority of your product is comprised from waste materials. Furthermore, you must endeavour to create a real world solution that could be viable if produced using batch/mass production.

UPCYCLING - LUCKY CLOUD BOWKNOT ● My final product is this Lucky Cloud bowknot. Red vintage cotton shirt used and nylon fabric paint for the pattern painting. Red and golden colour used for the product, which are sharp colour matching, with the lucky cloud print on it, which is a very traditional Chinese style. As well as the print is the idea from pattern on the torch in the Beijing Olympic in 2008.

The concept is available for both women and men to use, hair clip for her and bow tie for him. Without generation gap and people can share it with others.

After that, draw the lucky cloud pattern on the cotton and paint it with the good colour of nylon fabric paint. Lastly, use a ribbon the sew it as the final piece of bow tie.

STARPACK - BRIEF ● To design and develop a new, exciting and eye-catching range of at least three tins for either teas or coffees. students will need to create a fictitious brand targeting the quality retail sector, including duty free areas at airports and the higher-end retailers such as John Lewis, Selfridges and M&S. This new range is to be designed solutions with not only embossing and debossing but also high quality of print finishes that can be achieved with color, varnishes and bare metal.

Consider when designing your range (minimum 3 in range) marriageability as a set of three and that the labelling, graphics and overall presentation ensure they are a family of luxury products.

RESEARCH LED PROJECT- BRIEF ● You are required for this project to complete the given project brief relating to subject of sleep.

Design a product, service or system to improve health and welling by encouraging and/or enabling better sleep.

RESEARCH LED PROJECT- ● AROMATHERAPY MACHINE

This is a sleep aromatherapy machine, because the aromatherapy machine adds aromatherapy essential oils or liquids, and with the spread of water mist, full house fragrance makes the body more easily absorbed, there are soothing emotions, and health care. This product can make it easier for the anxious student group to fall asleep. At the same time, it also has a sunset sleep function and wake up call in the morning.

After setting this function, the warm light gradually decreases from the first 30 mins to darbeming until it goes out.

RESEARCH LED PROJECT- â—? IDEAS Nowadays, more and more people will choose to use a sleeping aromatherapy machine, because the aromatherapy machine is added with aromatherapy essential oils or liquids, and it spreads with the water mist, full house fragrance makes the body more easily absorbed, there are soothing emotions, the role of health care therapy, This enables people to fall asleep easily. I want to design this aromatherapy machine with the role of night light, its light is very soft, so that people will have drowsiness.

SCHEDULE RESEARCH: PRIMARY RESEARCH FINDINGS:

- INTERVIEW WITH PSYCHOLOGIST QUESTIONS

• Sleep is a crucial factor for students, this is because it helps students to feel less stressed.

• Sleep is a way for students to rest their body and mind and recoup the energy that they have spent on all of these day-today activities.

• Our electronic devices such as mobile phones and laptops emit blue light which is short wave length enriched. Blue light can negatively affect the ability for people to fall asleep and also affect the quality of their sleep.

• Aromatherapy products are a good idea for college students who have trouble sleeping. Smell can affect people's ability to fall asleep and sleep quality. Essential oils such as lavender will help as part of sleep hygiene habits. From my experience as a student, you definitely need to have a good memory especially for exams and coursework. I would advise that university students get at least a minimum of 8 hours of sleep each night. However, it is important to note that everyone is different.

“We spend a considerable amount of time sleeping, the average person that sleeps for 8 hours each night means that in their lifetime they have spent 200,000 + hours sleeping. I find sleep to be amazing, as every person on this planet sleeps no matter how many hours they sleep each night. Also, sleep is a necessary component of each person’s life and it is needed for memorization and day to day activity.”

PRIMARY RESEARCH FINDINGS:

SLEEP MATTERS - THE QUALITY AMONG UNIVERSITY STUDENTS .

OF SLEEP

7% People get 2-4 hours each weekday. 37% people get 4-6 hours each weekday 42% people get 6-8 hours each weekday. 14% people get 8 hours or more each weekday.

W’INNOVATE/WILKO- ● BRIFE Design an innovative new product for the ‘Blox’ product range to be sold in Wilko Stores across the UK. The concept should be supported by in-depth research into your chosen field.

Areas to consider

• Additional play factor • Encouraging STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Maths)

• Storage solutions & play on the go

• Bettering the “How to Build” communication • Increasing collectability • Bettering EQ & encouraging social and building as team

W’INNOVATE/WILKO- ● Solar Electronics Building Block Car.

This is a solar building block electric vehicle. Children need to use their product descriptions to put together building blocks. The materials include blocks, motors, wires, solar panels and wheels. Children can learn science and physics through this toy. Due to the difficulty of this product, it is suitable for primary school students and is most suitable for ages 6-10.
