My design idea is to incorporate the country's traditional culture into my new product because I respect culture. I firmly believe that culture is the origin of design, so while I was learning design, I was also learning the culture of various countries and races and applying them to my products. UPCYCLING - LUCKY CLOUD BOWKNOT â—? My final product is this Lucky Cloud bowknot. Red vintage cotton shirt used and nylon fabric paint for the pattern painting. Red and golden colour used for the product, which are sharp colour matching, with the lucky cloud print on it, which is a very traditional Chinese style. As well as the print is the idea from pattern on the torch in the Beijing Olympic in 2008. The concept is available for both women and men to use, hair clip for her and bow tie for him. Without generation gap and people can share it with others.

UPCYCLING - PROCESS●
Here shows the steps of the bowknot marking process. A red cotton vintage shirt used, cut it into rectangle, then flowing them into a small rectangle and sewing and fixed them. After that, draw the lucky cloud pattern on the cotton and paint it with the good colour of nylon fabric paint. Lastly, use a ribbon the sew it as the final piece of bow tie.
 
DESIGN FOR PRODUCTION- â—? THE LANTERN This is a combination of decorations that can be used as a vase or as a candle holder. It is inspired by Chinese lanterns. I kept the frame elements and colors of the lantern, but innovated its use. This product is made of metallic copper. Its metallic texture and rigid atmosphere will surely attract the attention of many people. Its use is simple and convenient, you can assemble according to your needs.
ALONE TOGETHER- ● THE APP AND PROJECTOR.
LUCE is an app and projector that strengthens community within the stay at home parent demographic. Children (ages 4 - 8) will be given a reading list that can be viewed through the LUCE projector and read out from the discrete speaker. The community aspect is formed by the digital LUCE forum for parents, where parents from a specific school and or area can review the books, discuss topics on the community chat and arange play-dates with their chidren, going through the reading list. The scenario of a play-date allows parents to get together during their typically busy day and socialise, even if it is as simple as going to your neighbour’s house.
