Camacol prepares for its 32nd Annual Camacol se prepara para su 32ª Fiesta Holiday basket distribution drive Anual de distribución de cesta

AMACOL, the Latin Chamber of Commerce, prepares to distribute approximately 3,000 vouchers on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at 8:00 am, to families in need during its 32nd Annual Holiday Basket Distribution Food Drive. Vouchers will be given out on a first-come, firstserve basis to those interested in receiving a basket at the CAMACOL Tower located at 1401 W. Flagler Street.Recipients will then be able to claim their holiday basket on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.“We are very grateful to the sponsors who have helped make this possible, to the volunteers that have donated their time and to the community that has helped keep this tradition alive,” said Mercy Saladrigas, president of CAMACOL. This year, as in previous years, the basket will be filled with a complete “Latin-styled” Holiday dinner including rice, beans, yuca, bread, soda, a pork shoulder, spices, sugar, milk, and other essential items. In addition to providing for those who are experiencing hardships this holiday season, the food drive also serves to unify the community as basket items come from donations provided by different sponsors, including

AMACOL, la cámara de Comercio Latina, se prepara para distribuir aproximadamente 3.000 cupones el miércoles, 29 de noviembre de 2017 a las 8:00, a las familias necesitadas durante su anual fiesta distribución de cesta de alimentos # 32ª. Cual se dará sobre una base de primero llegado, primero servido a aquellos que estén interesados en recibir una cesta en la torre de CAMACOL en 1401 W. Flagler Street. Los participantes podrá reclamar su cesta de día de fiesta el miércoles, 13 de diciembre de 2017 de 7:00 a 2:00 “Estamos muy agradecidos a los patrocinadores que han ayudado a que esto sea posible, a los voluntarios que han donado su tiempo y a la comunidad que ha ayudado a mantener esta tradición viva,” dijo Mercy Saladrigas, Presidente de CAMACOL. Este año, como en años anteriores, la cesta se llenará con una completa Cena Navideña con arroz, frijoles, yuca, pan, soda, una Paleta de cerdo, especias, azúcar, leche y otros artículos esenciales.
