Keota Swim Club Hosts Swim Meet Against Sigourney

The Keota Swim Club hosted a swim meet at the Keota Pool against Sigourney on Monday, July 21. Results and photos from the meet can be found on page 4. Community Events Victorious Living Conference Aug. 1, 2 & 3 Victorious Living Conference will take place on Fri., Aug. 1 at 7:00 p.m.; Sat., Aug. 2 at 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.; Sun., Aug. 3 at 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. The Conference will take place at New Life Fellowship, ½ mile south of Keswick on Hwy. 22. Run in the Sun Aug. 2 Mahaska Health Partnership Foundation 4th Annual Run in the Sun (5K Run, 1-Mile Walk) will take place on Sat., Aug. 2 at Lacey Sport Complex Community Stadium. Knights of Columbus Fish Fry Aug. 8 The Knights of Columbus will host a Fish Fry on Fri., Aug. 8 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the KC Hall in Harper. Libertyville Savings Bank Closed Aug. 9 Libertyville Savings Bank, formerly Farmers Savings Bank, will be closed on Sat., Aug. 9 for their computer conversion. The bank will be open regular hours on Mon., Aug. 11. SK Jr High Football Camp Aug. 11, 12, & 13 The SK Jr High Football Camp will take place on Aug. 11, 12, and 13 at Keota High School from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. each night. Steak Dinner at VFW

The Veterans Memorial Steak Dinner was held at the Keota VFW on Saturday, July 26. The two winners of the Beef Raffle in Memory of Thomas Nebel were Kevin Wallerich and Cindy Detweiler. Proceeds from the beef raffle and the steak dinner will go towards the Veterans Memorial.
