Tonight Final Night of Expo Bingo
See Pan Fly! Sigourney High School is performing Doug Rand’s Peter Pan and Wendy this weekend at the Sigourney High School with nightly performances at 7 p.m. on Friday, March 28 and Saturday, March 29, but a 2 p.m. matinee is featured on Sunday, March 30. With a full cast and crew of 42+ students, this spring’s performance will definitely be sporting “some faith, trust and a little bit of pixie dust”. Yet, pixie dust won’t be the only thing assisting Peter and his friends off of the ground. Pan, Wendy, Jon and Michael will be soaring across the London skyline with Flying by Foy (a theatrical flying company out of Las Vegas). “To fly will be an awfully big adventure” for five of our students, and they will undergo some extensive training with the experts before taking off on their first live performance this spring,” said director Kelly Mousel. Be ready for some excitement as a magical ensemble cast narrates the way through an adventure you won’t soon forget. From Neverland to Hook’s Jolly Roger, be ready with your ticket as the high school gears up for battle March 28-30. Tickets available at the door, but advance tickets are still available at the office of Sigourney High School.
Tonight, Wednesday, March 26 is the last night of Bingo at the Keokuk County Expo and the Jackpot is still up for grabs; bingo fun is from 6:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. Concessions available; bring a friend and have some fun!

Rep. Klein Joins Northey on Solar Tour Secretary of Agriculture Bill Northey and State Representative Jarad Klein, traveled to the local area on a fact-finding tour of prominent southeast Iowa solar installations focusing on Washington County last Friday afternoon, March 21. Washington County leads Iowa in solar installations, with even more planned. Together with solar energy installers and other legislators, participants saw firsthand how the area farmers are helping control their energy costs with increasingly affordable, clean solar energy. Rural businesses, the Washington County Fairgrounds, and the local electric co-op were also be featured. Vittetoe Inc., is located in Keota (this location was not included on the physical tour, but was a highlight in the discussion) and manufacturing include stateof-the-art laser cutting and robotic welding, which ensure quality-produced products. Hog equipment, chaff spreaders and some Show Stopper Equipment products are the

It contains 270 watt – Solar World modules. These particular modules are 100% made at their Oregon plant. The inverters are Fronius IG Plus Advanced , 3 phase inverters. Fronius has a large presence in Indiana and these string inverters are assembled there. Racking is from DPW racking, manufactured in New Mexico. The installation itself is on 2 buildings that are attached to the Vittetoe site. They are considered a large industrial user by Alliant energy. This system will offset more than 1/3 of their total usage.
