By Catherine Galioto BRICK – Decked out in her proud sash, crown and sparkly red dress, Damiana Dalleo stood smiling to accept her latest award – a proclamation naming April 25 in her honor.
Dalleo, 5, is a USA National Miss New Jersey Jr. Princess. She was presented with a certificate of commendation and proclamation from the mayor and council, naming April 25, 2016 as Damiana Dalleo Day.
USA National Miss New Jersey is an official preliminary to the prestigious USA National Miss Scholarship Program. Dalleo is representing New Jersey in various appearances, and (Princess - See Page 5)
Township’s Home Demolition Costs Higher Than Expected
By Judy Smestad-Nunn BRICK – The first home scheduled for demolition under an abandoned properties ordinance hit a snag when the anticipated cost was about five times higher than anticipated. “We started the Property Maintenance Board here in Brick for the purpose of giving everybody due process rights, go through the
