OUR STORY
The story of Micki begins as early as 1944, in the toy district Gemla in Småland, in southern Sweden. The Aronsson siblings together produce the toy Micki-Kul. Micki-Kul is an immediate success at the classic, Swedish department store NK.
Over the years, the ingenious toy manufacturers Aronsson and new generations of the family continue to create sustainable, fun toys that allow children to discover, play and learn.
OUR HEART IS IN GEMLA
• We design and develop our toys in Gemla, Sweden
• Durable and carefully selected materials
• Extensive safety tests - independent and self-implemented
• Some of our wooden production happens in our woodwork in Gemla
We also work closely together with Växjö municipality’s program for daily activities for persons with various disabilities. About ten people with disabilities work with us daily with different tasks.
Toys that can be handed down for generations
When a child has finished playing, the toy should be able to be handed down to new, playful children. We want many children to be able to continue playing with the same toy for many years to come. That’s sustainability to us.

A 30 YEAR OLD COLLABORATION
Ever since 1991, Micki has been developing fun Pippi toys that create a familiar feeling for children, from Astrid Lindgren’s stories. The first Pippi toys; the wig and Pippi clothes, can still be found in our assortment, though with a few updated features.

The dolls from Skrållan will soon become the child’s very best friends. A doll to care for, play with and bring along on their eventful adventures. These dolls were first launched in 1966 and are loved by generations ever since.
