Welcome to the combined July and August summer edition of Completely Bromsgrove

We start by congratulating Martyn and Gloria Davies, who recently celebrated their diamond wedding anniversary. Burcot Grange invited family and friends to celebrate the milestone and the Completely Bromsgrove team would like to send the diamond couple our very best wishes.

Another celebration taking place on August 5th is the annual charity event held by the all-female team at Butchers Block on the High Street. Head butcher Michelle and her wife Lilith will be raising money throughout the day for local charities. If you have some free time, please pop down and support them and some worthy causes.

BBC Midlands Today presenter Joanne Malin will be comparing a special evening of entertainment to celebrate 50 years of The Housman Society. Turn to page 34 for more details about what promises to be a great evening.

Returning for its seventh year on July 11th and 12th is the popular music festival Orchardfest at Puddle Wharf Farm. All proceeds from the event will be donated to Primrose Hospice. Head to page 39 for ticket information.
