Tales of life behind the mic

WORDS are delighted to welcome Quentin Letts on Friday, July 21st at 11am in the New Guesten Hall at Avoncroft Museum of Historic Buildings. Following Pat Murphy’s popular visit to WORDS last summer, he returns with two other legends of sports broadcasting - Nick Owen and Jim Rosenthal - to recall the highs and lows of their long careers.

The trio will be unashamedly dropping a few illustrious names along the way and telling freshly minted anecdotes you won’t hear anywhere else.

The event, which is part of the 2023 Bromsgrove Festival, takes place at 7.30pm on Wednesday, July 12th in the Rouslers Bar at Bromsgrove Sporting FC, the Victoria Ground, Birmingham Road, Bromsgrove, B61 0DR.
