New season at Sporting not far away

Planning for the 2023-24 season continues with Trista n Dunkley and Connor Tee agreeing to continue playing for Bromsgrove Sporting along with popular goalkeeper Ollie Taylor

Promising striker Blake Kindred will also be staying at the Victoria Ground. With football resuming soon, mor e signings are expected in the next few weeks

Planning for the 2023-24 season continues with Tristan Dunkley and Connor Tee agreeing to continue playing for Bromsgrove Sporting along with popular goalkeeper Ollie Taylor.

Promising striker Blake Kindred will also be staying at the Victoria Ground. With football resuming soon, more signings are expected in the next few weeks.

Fixtures for the Southern League will not be published until the middle of July, but several pre-season friendlies have been arranged so far including an intriguing match against Robbie Savage's Macclesfield. Check Sporting ’s website for any possible changes.

Unfortunately, there was some sad news at the Victori a Ground with the loss of former Bromsgrove Rovers treasurer Terry Brown at the end of April Recently the former director and president of the Bromsgrove Sporting Supporters Society, Pete O'Connell, passed away.

Pete was well-known to many people within the footb all community having acted as the physio for Bromsgrove Rovers during their heyday in the Bobby Hope era and more recently for Worcester City. He was the society’s representative on the Bromsgrove Sporting board, carr ying out that role diligently from 2014 to 2019 electrics, fire alarms and security systems. Other Sporting teams including the Colts are also busy recruiting squads for the next campaign. The under 12s and 13s have vacancies in all positions. Last year’s under 16s have decided to jump a year and play as under 18s next season so they are interested in hearing from players experienced at this level.
