Bromsgrove Photographic Society were bowled over by the invitation to stage an exhibition of photography in Bromsgrove & District Indoor Bowls Club in Charford.

The idea was the brainchild of Ian Bowes, a member of both clubs, who could see the mutual benefits.

Club members and visitors have the chance to view some excellent images when they have a break from competing and BPS members can see their work being appreciated and maybe inspire a hidden photographer among the bowlers.

Some of the images are fresh from a recent competition and the display was installed in short order by chairman Ele Watts, webmaster David Jellie and publicity officer Anne Galbraith-Jellie.

Even as the display was being set up, members of Bromsgrove Bowls Club were friendly and welcoming. They chatted to BPS members and admired the images on display. Hopefully this will be the start of a beautiful friendship.
