ADAPTRONICS produces electro-adhesive interfaces with tactile sensing feedback that can be easily mounted on any automatic machine or robot end effector.

• Fully electric

• Adhesive force

• Ultra fast

• Energy efficient

• Works in space to enable docking and in orbit servicing

The product is based on the Electro Active Adhesive Layer (EAAL) implemented on a Conformable Back Structure, mounted as plug-&play device on a Mounting Predisposition and powered by a standard 24V electronic unit.

The EAAL is a proprietary technology based on a flexible printed electronics thin-film that becomes adhesive on command through electrostatics on objects of all shapes and materials (such as dielectric or conductive, rigid or soft, dense or porous, planar or curve, solids or deformable, etc.), with an impressive force density, seamless conformability and sensor-AI feedback capabilities to detect proximity, contact, type of material or any valuable information from the gripping action.

1. WORKS WITH POST-INDUSTRIAL AND POST-USE TEXTILE WASTE

Textile Recycler and Manufacturer: recovers the production and the urban waste that is currently sent to landfill or incinerated

Cooperatives and Associations: recovers those garments that can no longer be resold nor reused because of their poor condition

2. GRINDS THE MATERIAL

The material is reduced into small particles

3. APPLIES THE BIOTECH PROCESS

Using a proprietary biotech process, garments or production scraps are transformed into new chemical molecules like sugars.

4. RECOVERS PLASTIC FIBERS AND CREATE VARIOUS PRODUCTS

Patented pending process excludes any use of polluting chemicals and is able to recover mix synthetic plastic fibers and dyes that are usually blended in the textile and made available for new applications (PLA and agricultural sugars).

• PhD in Mechanical Engineering

Horatio Ben Moggee

• CTO Exponential Venture

• BSc Engineering

Marco Mulas

• Founder and CEO Vento CFD

• PhD in Fluid Mechanics

MESPAC aims to revolutionize the way metocean data are obtained, bridging the gap between traditional in-situ campaigns and the cutting-edge capabilities of satellite Earth Observation technologies.

The approach leverages the power of Artificial Intelligence to harvest metocean information and fill the gaps remotely, conveniently and quickly. The technology not only provides data, but also invaluable insights for supporting stakeholders active in the sector of wind energy offshore plants and, more in general, the blue economy: this significantly mitigates the risks associated with in-situ surveying activities and propels the offshore sector forward.

Services are designed to be cost-effective, highly scalable and repeatable for supporting global operators. Operators can prospect new offshore plant sites with more accurate and reliable information and evaluate the most promising sites saving over 50% of the time compared to traditional in-situ surveys. With refined metocean data for the entire marine area covered by the plan, MESPAC can cover metocean needs spanning from the initial stages of development till the entire operative life of offshore projects.

• CEO and Founder ORIS

• MSc inAerospace Engineering

LorenzoAva

• Corporate Learning Advisor H-Farm

• BSc Psychology/ MSc HR Management

ORIS (ENERGY SUPPLY SERVICES IN SPACE) is developing a sophisticated space payload for high-power energy transmission in space, integrating an advanced laser source, optical chain, pointing system, and thermal control mechanisms. The payload features a fiber laser source selected for its excellent beam quality, high efficiency, and compact size, which are essential for longdistance power transmission.

ORIS offers different services, both in Space and on Earth:

• ORIS can transmit energy to any point on the lunar surface, overcoming the limitations of day/night energy production and storage.

• Wireless power transmission technology can be employed in Earth’s orbit to recharge satellites, significantly enhancing their operational efficiency and extending their mission lifespans.

• There are about 36,500 large objects and 1 million smaller objects in Earth’s orbit. A space-based laser system could potentially remove up to 100,000 small debris objects during its operational lifespan.

• Wireless power transmission technology can be utilized on Earth to recharge drones in flight, eliminating the need for frequent landings and manual recharging, making drones more effective for surveillance, delivery, and environmental monitoring.

Elisa Ferrari

• CEO and Founder QuantaBrain

• PhD in Computer Science Giovanni Spagnolli

• CTO Sybilla Biotech

• PhD in Biomolecular Science

QuantaBrain has developed proprietary AI-driven software for diagnosing psychiatric disorders through a quick 1-minute resting state functional magnetic resonance imaging (rs-fMRI) examination.

rs-fMRI is an entirely safe and non-invasive procedure where the patient simply rests (with the option to keep their eyes open or closed) for 1 minute inside the magnetic resonance scanner.

Unlike structural imaging, functional MRI measures the flow of oxygenated blood in the brain. As neural activity consumes oxygen, this examination provides an indirect measurement of brain activity.

The proprietary AI software leverages urban traffic analysis techniques to analyze how oxygen is delivered and consumed across the brain. It is compatible with any scanner and MR acquisition sequence.

The first development of the technology is applied to the early diagnosis of neuro-divergencies, granting an early treatment from both the psychiatric and psychological perspectives.
