Please remember to sign up on the Chelsea Reservation System(www.cypresswoodsgolf.com)toreserveyourslot for Tuesday. This must be done before the 10:00 pm on the preceding Friday for normal days of play. For play dates with luncheons, this must be done before 4:00pm ontheprecedingFriday.Pleaseseeschedules.

The system is very user friendly and you will be able to walk through it very easily. If you run into difficulties, anyone in the Pro Shop can assist. While there is a phone option, the internet is the quickest and easiest waytosignup.

If you need to cancel for any reason, please call the pro shop ASAP. If it happens to be the day of, please call the proshopthatmorningtoletthemknow.Proshopopensat 7:00am.

General Rules of Play

Lost ball or out of bounds: you must re-hit from the previous shot & take a penalty. Play a provisional ball if youarenotsureiftheballislost.

Water and lateral hazards are the same at Cypress Woods. Youmusttakeapenalty,thenproceed:

Take 2 clubs lengths from where the ball crossed the hazardanddroptheball,noclosertothehole.

Go back as far as you like, keeping where you crossed the hazard and the flag in a straight line. (This may putyouinthehazard;thenitisnotanoption).

You have the option to hit out of the hazard without a penalty. You are not permitted to move anything in the hazardorgroundyourclub.

Properproceduretodropaballwhenrequired:

one club length from nearest point of relief when it isafreedrop

two club lengths from where the ball crossed the hazard,notwhereitendedup.

two club lengths from where the ball lies when unplayable.

FreeDrop

Take your stance and mark the spot with a tee. Measure from that tee one club length and mark the spot. Stand with your body facing the flag, arm at shoulder height, drop the ballbetweenthetees.Ifitgoesclosertothehole,re-drop.

PenaltyDrop

Measure two club lengths from the ball (unplayable lie) or fromthehazardandplaceateedown.Standwithyourbody facing the flag between the hazards and the marked tee and drop the ball. If it rolls closer to the hole or back into hazard, re-drop. After two times if it still roles, you may placeyourball.

Hole by Hole Local Rules

#1 Right of the cart path, there are out of bounds stakes near the buildings. Left side is water hazard to the green. Bushesnearthegreencouldresultinanunplayableball.

#2Rightofthecartpathandrightofthegreenthereareout of bounds stakes near the homes. Left of the fairway is a hazard (follow the hazard rule). Far left is also out of boundsnearthehomes.Environmentalhazardisacrossthe fairway.Mustgotodropzoneorre-hit.

#3 The area on the right of the fairway, between the 3rd and 7th holes has many bushes. If you cannot find your ball there, you must re-hit from the tee. If you find your ball under a bush, follow the unplayable ball rule, (two club lenths from where the ball lies, not nearest point of relief). Left of the fairway are water hazards. The red hazard line is now along the cart path. You can drop on the right side of the cart path, onto the fairway where it crossed the hazard takingapenaltystroke.

#4 Left side of the cart path is an environmental hazard to the bridge where the bushes are. Drop area available on the other side of the bridge. Left side of cart path, after crossing the bridge, there is out of bounds that goes under a bush. Followtheunplayablerule.Iflost,youmustgobacktore-hit from your previous shot. After the bridge, water hazard is to therightofthegreen.

#5 Lateral water hazard on the right and lateral hazard on theleftofcartpathalongthefairwaytothegreen.

#6 Lateral hazard on the right of the fairway to the water and on the left of the cart path to the green. The road is out of bounds. Water hazard on the right of green to the water andontheleftofthecartpathtothegreen.

#7 Water hazard on the left of the cart path to the green. Bushes on the right side of the fairway can cause problems. If ball is found under bush, follow unplayable rule. If you cannotfindyourball,followlostballrule.

#8 Right of the cart path, near homes, are out of bounds stakes.Leftiswaterhazard.

#9 Water hazard on the left of the fairway and lateral hazardrightsideofthefairwayaroundbushes.

#10 Water hazard on the left, lateral hazard on the right of cartpathtothegreen.Ifunderthebushesontherightside ofthefairway,playunplayableruleorlostball.

#11 Environmental hazard on the left, Go to drop area. Lateral hazard on the right, follow hazard rule. May go to dropareatoo,waterhazardalsoonthelefttothegreen.

#12 Environmental hazard in front of the green, Go to drop area or re-hit from the tee. May re-tee ball with penalty. Lateral hazard on the right along the cart path. Waterhazardbackofleftsideofgreen.

#13 Out of bounds on the left, near the buildings. Lateral hazard on the right across the cart path. Water hazard on theleft.

#14 Left of the fairway, out of bounds near homes. Lateral hazardontherightofthecartpathtothegreen.

#15 Off the tee and left of the cart path is a lateral hazard. Left of the fairway across the cart path are bushes. The road is out of bounds or ball can be lost in bushes. Lateral water hazardisontherightofthegreen.

#16 Right of the cart path, near the buildings, is out of bounds. Bushes on the right of the fairway before the cart path can cause a lost ball. Water hazard on the left of the fairwaytothegreen.Bushesontheleftareinthehazard.

#17 Right of the cart path are out of bounds stakes near the buildings. Bushes up near the right of the green or over the green can result in a lost ball. Water hazard along the left sideofthegreen.

#18 Entire hole, right of the cart path are out of bounds stakes.Entireleftsideisenvironmentalhazard.
