These are season-long competitions for the CWLGA members. Prizes will be awarded in flights on Awards Day. Ringers are your ultimate round of all your best gross scores on each hole from the same tees throughout the season on CWLGA play days. Be sure to mark your scorecard with the birdies, eagles, and chip-ins. These ONLY count if you hole out and are playing for an individual score. If you pick up for any reason, mark an X on the scorecard next to your estimated score on that hole.
Chairwoman, Treasurer: Linda Clayton
This is comprised of all members who have scored a gross score of "2" on any Par 3 hole and purchased the "2 Club" pin. To become a member, you must be playing with a "2 Club" member and score a gross score of "2" on any Par 3 hole. Pay the treasurer $5.00 to receive your pin. Once a member, you will receive $1.00 from each "2 Club" member in your foursome when scoring "2" on any Par 3 hole. But whichever member of your foursome completes this score all other members owe her $1.00 each.
Anytime a member scores a hole-in-one, they can get a hole-in-one pin from the treasurer. The cost is $5.00
Hole-in-One insurance is available for a $20.00 application fee through the Pro Shop, with a $20.00 fee when the funds run low. If you are interested, please see someone in the Pro Shop for details.
Chairwoman: Sue Ernst
Members of Cypress Woods can play in the “Lennar/US Home Community Women’s Interclub” which includes: Cypress Woods, Forest Glen, Bonita National, Heritage Bay, Heritage Palms-Royal, Heritage Palms-Sabal, and Legends. Each Club will send an eightperson team playing for Stableford points. The top five points of the individual team members will be counted for a “Team Score”. Individual prizes of Pro Shop certificates will be given on each play day to the top 10 players with the highest Stableford points. Team scores consist of 6 points for 1st Place, 5 points for 2nd Place, 4 points for 3rd Place, 3 points for 4th Place, 2 points for 5th Place and 1 point for 6th Place. The team scores accumulate from each tournament. The team with the most points at the end of the season will receive a “Traveling Trophy” on FUN DAY. Any CWLGA or Cypress Woods member may sign up to play to a maximum of 36 handicap. Wear your LUSH shirt (order from the Pro Shop) with a black skirt, shorts, capris or slacks. The cost to participate in LUSH is $60.00, including golf, lunch, prizes and tips for bag handling. Some clubs will do Member Charge to your Cypress Woods account, others will require a credit card. We will let you know before the event if a credit card is required. You will need to bring $2.00 cash when you play. The sign up sheets for all LUSH events will be in the Pro Shop at the beginning of the season. This will be on a first come, first play basis.

• When in doubt of a rule, play a second ball then consult with the Head Pro.
• Person with the lowest handicap is captain and keeps the group moving so you can see the group ahead of you at all times.
• If you think a player will breach a rule, bring it to their attention before they do it for good sportsmanship.
• Golf is a game of honor. Count all your hits, misses and penalties yourself. If you think another player breached a rule or reported an incorrect count, kindly suggest they count again or consult a Pro on rules. If you are asked to count again or told you broke a rule, do not get angry Do not take this as an insult Just verify with your foursome who is correct. We need to all play by the same rules.
• All members shall designate their tee box selection the first time they sign up for league play. For the coming season, there will be three tee box options; IV, IV/V (hybrid), or V tees. Your tee selection must remain the same each time you sign up on Chelsea for league play.
• You will be allowed one tee box change at any time during the season. Changes must be in writing, include the specific date the change will occur, and deliver to someone in the Pro Shop.
• You may share tech devices without penalty, but you may not provide distance information to another player. Verbally giving another player distances is giving adivice which is not permitted.
• If in a team event and your score will not be used, pick up to speed up play and take the most reasonably possible score and mark it with an X. You should still post this score if it is an individual score. Do not post a score higher than your maximum for your handicap.
• See Guest Policy included with Bylaws and Standing Rules of CWLGA.
• Inquire about the Cancellation and No-Show Policies at the Pro Shop.
Turn off cell phone sounds and do not check for or send messages. Arrive 20 minutes prior to scheduled tee time.
Prepare for your round by placing at least three marked balls, tees and ball markers in your pocket.
Play “Ready Golf” except in Match Play. Get out of the cart and walk to your ball while others are setting up. Be prepared to play when it is your turn by carrying a couple of clubs and sand with you.
Do not talk, move yourself or your cart when someone is hitting. Stay out of their sight line and do not stand too close.
Do not walk on anyone’s putting line.
Be ready to leave the green with first person to putt out holding the flag ready to replace it.
Record the scores on the next tee box not while still by the green.
Help others track and look for their ball. This may mean hitting your ball if you are up next then helping to look. If a ball is lost use the 3-minute time limit for searching.
Park your carts on the path, closest to the next tee box.
Repair ball marks and shoe scuff marks on green. Fill in divots in the fairway and on the tee. Rake the sand trap and leave the rake in the trap, near the edge, handle out of the sand. Don’t remove ball from the hole with the putter. Repair scuff marks before or after you putt.
