The Filipino youth found themselves marginalized from mainstream politics and decision making Many adults silence the voices of the youth for participating in politics As a result, they feel disempowered due to their thoughts and opinions being nullified or ignored by adults We believe that the youth should have an opportunity in deciding today’s and tomorrow’s politics

There’s nothing wrong with being politically

active, it's beneficial because it shows the youth’s patriotism and care about their motherland’s future The youth are citizens of the country, may they be registered voters or not, they are still affected by government policies Hence, adults should instead encourage the youth to speak out to help shape the country's future and practice good citizenship

During that time, the MHS teacher’s chorale only had few members namely: Mrs Joan Samosa, Mr Al Barrameda, Mr Franz Molo, Mrs Rochelle Groce, and Ms Kharen Joy Aloro, and Mr Daniel Diaz served as their conductor and mentor The chorale found it hard to practice The process behind their winning piece ‘Himig ng Pagyakap’ was grueling, they practiced 3 hours a day while also teaching online and doing their responsibilities as a teacher Doing the same process every day, until the day of filming arrived, they retook it a lot of times, more than what the fingers could count Lack of equipment, such as microphones and noise cancellation pads, was the reason, but this occurrence did not hinder them from performing well as a team

Not long after that, Mr Diaz and Mr Barrameda encouraged fellow chorale members to serve in first Friday masses held in our very own school December came and their mass service was then followed by a Virtual Caroling with the intention of gaining money to help one of their ill Chorale members and buying new equipment to help broaden their horizons The team shared their experiences, they felt all sorts of emotions such as happy, sad, and nervous during the process of building the Chorale Mr Diaz even said that he was a strict instructor but he ended up loosening to his co teachers Despite taking a rocky path, it was memorable for them as they did not regret pedaling forward to perform pieces as a team

An unexpected team, a difficult yet successful road taken on by some of the strongest and bravest teachers of Manila High School This was not the plan, originally, students from Grade 7 to 10 are the candidates for the chorale, however, an unforeseen turn of events made it hard for the idea to be pushed through With the pandemic and lockdowns brought to light, a new plan yet spontaneous, the Teachers Chorale was born It was like God's plan, perfect timing, Mr Daniel Diaz, a young passionate MAPEH Teacher arrived at Manila High School Who knew that a symphony could be played?

“W what are you doing? Why are you holding a knife? That’s dangerous, you know you should put that down ” I calmly said to her “You saw her right?” she asked me I nodded and walked backwards as she walked towards me

“B but that kid I s saw here holding a knife in the abandoned house and there is a dead body there ” I don’t know what to do and my head’s started to spin. The man gave me a glass of water and calmed me down
