OUR TROOP
This year, the troop designed an original troop crest by combining two traditional crests- the pansy and the bee. According to Girl Scouts USA Guide to Troop Crests, pansies stand for loving thoughts and special friendships, while bees symbolize hard work and industry. Troop 10116 combines these values. Through hard work and commitment, our troop pollinates Girl Scout values of kindness and community.
Troop 10116 has experienced meaningful growth in recent years. More than 90% of 20232024 troop members returned this year and the troop expanded to serve Cadette Girl Scouts for the first time.
This year, the troop began using a Troop 10116 logo on all of our printed and digital materials. The logo is a practical tool, indicating our troop number and the troop year.
