TROOP 10255

The membership of Troop 10255 is more fluid and variable than most troops. Girls sometimes enter and depart residential living at Crossnore Communities with little notice.

Several troop members returned from 2023-2024 and completed a second full year of Girl Scouting. Other troop members attended only a few meetings. Over the course of Girl Scout year 2024-2025, Troop 10255 served 13 Girl Scouts.

At most meetings 4 to 10 girls were present for meetings.

This year, Troops 10255 and 10116 jointly designed an original troop crest by combining two traditional crests- the pansy and the bee According to Girl Scouts USA Guide to Troop Crests, pansies stand for loving thoughts and special friendships, while bees symbolize hard work and industry. The crest combines these values. Through hard work and commitment, our troop pollinates Girl Scout values of kindness and community.
