IMSS Clinique Felipe Carrillo Puerto, Querétaro.

Professor: BAarch Sandra Hernández

Team: Daniela Alagón and Ramiro Pérez

The intervention was done after analyzing the correct functionality of a clinique, for this, we visited IMMSS' clinique number nine, to interview the different users, analyze the relation between spaces, circulation paths, correct ventilation and illumination, and requirements for a clinique affine. We studied the context and how the users react to its surroundings for us to give a useful and respectful project to the site; with this, we concluded that the site was placed in a zone with social inequity due to the lack of good road connectivity.

For this, we had the intention of making this site, the heart of the neighborhood, in addition to also giving a sense of ease to Felipe Carrillo Puerto. Related to the wellbeing of the site in conflict with the wellbeing of the population.

The sun path was taken into consideration as the zones were being planned, such as immediate attention zone, ad auxiliary attention zone to help with the inhibition of bacteria in the clinique Furthermore, we played with a type of chiaroscuro around the south facade to allow natural light in.

The row of trees allows the air to cool off before entering the building and the hot air to leave through the window cones by cross ventilation and venturi effect

We chose an endemic and natural pallet of vegetation to give a sensation of relief, relaxation, and looseness to the eye to help the ambiance of the area in conflict.

PIER 11

Mixed uses complex Houston, Texas.

Professor: BArch. Eduardo Reims

Team: Cristina Larracoechea and Julio Caldera

Inhabit, consume, avail housing. As the dense vegetarion, an architectual complex that promises a sustainable lifestyle for the inhabiters. Entre la densa vegetación, se alza un conjunto que promete un estilo de vida sostenible para sus habitantes The elevated houses give rise to covered spaces that frame a central park, this allows the exchange of uses between users. The direct programmatic connection with the boardwalk makes Pier 11 a site of interest for the entire public.

The micro climates affect the correct design of the whole Solar radiation reaches different surfaces that contribute to the project and this is used for the production of clean energy. However, radiation is reduced in homes due to the vegetation in that area. An evaporative cooling system was considered taking advantage of the direction of the wind since it favored natural ventilation through the existing body of water.

ALBORETUM

Landscape restoration Jurica, Querétaro.

Professor: BArch. Rodrigo Pantoja

Team: Jessica Ibarra and Jose Eduardo Muños

Parque Arboretum is a set of spaces for different activities and users; Each space was analyzed to improve its quality with users and the environment in mind. Rehabilitation of the main square of the park, changing the materiality to improve the permeability of the site and respond to flooding and thus take care of the square, respecting the current vegetation. We thought of a vegetable palette that provides color and life, as well as being low maintenance and being more than a park of passage and routine. For the furniture, a wooden pergola and vines are proposed to provide shade to the main path of the park, as well as benches along it. It is proposed to replace the fences of the park and lighten the visual barriers by means of flowering bushes with an organic cover to maintain the humidity and temperature of the soil.

TAJAMAR

Sports pavillion El Sauzal, Baja California

Professors: PhD Arch. Rubén Garnica y MArch. Agustín Solórzano

Team: Fernanda Tena and Emilio de la Parra

Tajamar, sports pavilion responds to the theory of nearby cities, since Barrio

Punta Sauzal is segregated on the outskirts of the city of Ensenada, separated from the rest of El Sauzal by the Tijuana-Ensenada highway. It seeks to complement the equipment and services between both neighborhoods to promote a walkable city. Thus, the existing sports unit extends into the segregated neighborhood and complements the services. Tajamar is a sports pavilion that gives public space to the city and promotes sports in the different spaces proposed To achieve a union between both sites, it is proposed to reduce the speed of motorized vehicles through the reduction of the number of lanes, change of materiality and a pedestrian crossing at sidewalk level, so the user has priority on this street.

I can compose and help represent an idea by collecting different images and photographs. With the union of textures, materials, and the collage technique to capture different textures, styles, and collage ideas, the projects presented are the result of a collaboration with clients, of whom I do not take any personal credit; what is shown is the way I achieved to represent
