Club News

Today we welcome Seaford FNC to the kennel for a must win for both clubs, so should be great game. So sit back, grab yourself a coffee or beverage & something to eat and enjoy local footy at it best! - Note we have Kev's Snitzies up for grabs today for lunch.

Socials - Lots of socials coming up (check them out in this record) for all, players,members & supporters. We have the Trivia Night coming up next then our annual Ladies Day is finally happening after 3 attempts! Its the MadHatters Gin&T Party and we want to see all the lovely ladies of our club attend, invite friends and family.It's time to party one more time upstairs!!

Last home game on the 6th August we have the 'Last Supper" Luncheon which will be one not to be miss. This will be the last ever Lunch in the rooms before they get pulled down in November. $100 gets you a 3 course lunch with drinks package in the best seat in the house.

Then on the last game of the season we come back to the rooms for the $10,000 Draw (tickets our soon) and celebrate that we got through a season after 2 years!!

New Timekeepers Box - last home game we had the honour of unvailing the new "Noel Scott" Time Keepers Box. We couldn't think of a more worthy recipiant than Noel. It was great to have him and his family all up there on the day for the unveiling.

Football Well we had to go into the archives and bring back some legends who thought they had retired!

Due to injuries and the list is long!!! we only had 14 Ressies players so the calls went out and thanks to Jai Haddock, Barry Smeeton, Josh Hutchinson & Brayden Webber who put up their hands to play plus Sam Wallace (who had never played!). We also have to thank Ty Cull and Nick Quint who played 19's and then played in the Ressies to help out. So we had a team and they actually were brilliant, they nearly snuck the win, it was a good game to watch. Under 19's had a solid win but will be tested by Seaford who sit 2nd on ladder and Seniors had a 20 point win to keep the dream alive. Its that scenerio we all don't like we have to keep winning and let our fate work itself out. Angus Rowler played his best game at full back and Will Goosey was outstanding with 6 goals. So its head down today and lets get the wins on the board.

Netball Our U17's are sitting nicely in 3rd position and playing some good Netball. Unfortunately illness and injury has hit from the top down so not the results we wanted over the past few weeks and Seaford will be strong today. Last week we played Devon and had 3 wins(U17,D& B) and 2 draws (A & C). Well they say a draw is better than a loss. Good luck to all the girls today.

Women's Football Girls have had an up and down month with some losses and some wins but both still sit in finals contention. They only have 4 rounds to go so hopefully they get the wins on the board and both teams play finals. They next home is 23rd July at the kennel. This is their final home game so if you are around pop down and cheer them on.
