Malen ist Mut. Mut vor sich selbst und der Welt. Malen schafft Freiheit. Malen hinterfragt.

Meine abstrahierenden Bilder sind Ausdruck meiner Auseinandersetzung mit dem modernen Leben insbesondere als Mann- im Positiven wie im Negativen. Die Hintergründe werden asu Fluid-Acral mit Zusätzen flink gemalt und teilweise gegossen. Geplant und doch so zufällig wie das Leben. Und eben das spiegelt sie auch wider und scheint deshalb durch die figurativen Elemente hindurch. Sie stellen quasi stets die Komplexität infrage - und damit sich selbst; Herkunft, Sein und Werden. So entsteht eine eigene Dynamik, die dazu anregen soll, persönliche Elemente und Gedanken zu entdecken. Aus dem Selbstverständnis heraus, dass ein Individum nur wirklichen Zugang zu seiner eigenen Informationssicht hat, ohne sie letztlich selbst entschlüsseln zu können, ist es nahezu unmöglich für einen anderen Menschen zu sprechen. Ich bin ein Mann, konsequenterweise ist das ein zentrales Thema für mich. Der Mann als Protagonist im modernen Leben ist infrage gestellt wie nie und muss sich neu finden. Ziele, Gefühle, Begierde, Liebe, Sterblichkeit, eben das Mysterium Mann.

Painting is courage. Courage before yourself and the world. Painting creates freedom. Painting is questioned.

My abstract pictures are an expression of my engagement with modern life, especially as a man - both positive and negative. The backgrounds are quickly painted and partially cast using Fluid-Acral with additives. Planned and yet as random as life. And that is exactly what it reflects and therefore shines through the figurative elements. They are almost always questioning the complexity - and therefore themselves; Origin, being and becoming. This creates its own dynamic that encourages you to discover personal elements and thoughts.

I am a man, so this is a central issue for me. The man as a protagonist in modern life is being questioned like never before and has to find himself anew. Goals, feelings, desire, love, mortality, just the mystery of man.
