Auseinandersetzung mit dem modernen Leben insbesondere als Mann- im Positiven wie im Negativen. Die Hintergründe werden asu Fluid-Acral mit Zusätzen flink gemalt und teilweise gegossen. Geplant und doch so zufällig wie das Leben. Und eben das spiegelt sie auch wider und scheint deshalb durch die figurativen Elemente hindurch. Sie stellen quasi stets die Komplexität infrage - und damit sich selbst; Herkunft, Sein und Werden. So entsteht eine eigene Dynamik, die dazu anregen soll, persönliche Elemente und Gedanken zu entdecken.

Aus dem Selbstverständnis heraus, dass ein Individum nur wirklichen Zugang zu seiner eigenen Informationssicht hat, ohne sie letztlich selbst entschlüsseln zu können, ist es nahezu unmöglich für einen anderen Menschen zu sprechen.

Ich bin ein Mann, konsequenterweise ist das ein zentrales Thema für mich. Der Mann als Protagonist im modernen Leben ist infrage gestellt wie nie und muss sich neu finden. Ziele, Gefühle, Begierde, Liebe, Sterblichkeit, eben das Mysterium Mann.

Painting is courage. Courage before yourself and the world.

Painting creates freedom. Painting is questioned.

My abstract pictures are an expression of my engagement with modern life, especially as a man - both positive and negative.

The backgrounds are quickly painted and partially cast using Fluid-Acral with additives. Planned and yet as random as life.

And that is exactly what it reflects and therefore shines through the figurative elements. They are almost always questioning the complexity - and therefore themselves; Origin, being and becoming. This creates its own dynamic that encourages you to discover personal elements and thoughts.

I am a man, so this is a central issue for me. The man as a protagonist in modern life is being questioned like never before and has to find himself anew. Goals, feelings, desire, love, mortality, just the mystery of man.

Dieses Bild entstand als erstes im neuen Atelier. Neues oder Fremdes macht uns immer ängstlich und wir schauen erwartungsvoll auf das Neue, das auf uns zukommt. Mit dem Vertrrauen und der Liebe, die andere in uns stecken, genauso wie Selbstvertrauen und Selbstliebe wird aus dem Neuen etwas Gutes und Schönes.

Unsere Natur hat es eingerichtet, dass wir uns erst nach dem Äußeren eines Menschen richten. Attraktivität ist eine Chance, aber auch eine Falle für das Selbst und andere. Sicht macht weder gut noch böse, kann aber den wahren Blick verstellen.

Beziehungen zwischen Menschen sind nicht immer leicht. Oft sind sie ein Wechselbad der Gefühle. Verliebsein wechselt mit Streit, Gemeinschaft mit Zurückgezogenheit. Aber das ist auch das Spannende daran. Sich erkunden und nähern. Und eben manchmal auch aushalten, was mensch nicht genauso sieht. Really?

Relationships between people are not always easy. They are often a rollercoaster of emotions. Falling in love alternates with arguments, companionship with withdrawal. But that's also the exciting thing about it. Explore and approach. And sometimes we have to endure what people don't see in the same way. Really?

Erstellt für die Ausstellung „Venus-neue Weiblichkeit“ bei prideART. Unsere Natur lässt uns in Boxen denken. Das hilft und schützt. Freier werden wir dadurch wohl nicht. Was wir sehen, bestimmt was wir denken? Mann oder Frau? Und jede Gruppe und Zeit hat ihre eigene Schönheit. Was wir sehen, ist weder beständig noch verlässlich.

Created for the exhibition “Venus-new Femininity” at prideART. Our nature makes us think in boxes. This helps and protects. This probably won't make us any freer. What we see determines what we think? Man or woman? And every group and time has its own beauty. What we see is neither consistent nor reliable.

Menschen legen fest, was Männlichkeit sein sollte. Rollen sollen Vereinfachung und Sicherheit schaffen. Aber jede Gruppe definiert auch nach ihrer Tradition anders. Und der Mensch passt immer etwas hinein, aber nie ganz. Das Gefühl der Männlichkeit kann stolz machen, aber Infragegestellt schnell falsch und gefährlich werden.

People determine what masculinity should be. Roles are intended to provide simplification and security. But each group also defines things differently according to their tradition. And people always fit in a little, but never completely. The feeling of masculinity can make you proud, but when questioned it can quickly become wrong and dangerous.

Jung zu sein ist etwas Herrliches. Niemand weiß, was das Leben für einen Weg bestimmt hat. Im Glauben alles ist möglich, hat man Mut ohne keine Bedenken. Aber dies Glück verschließt auch die Augen, ignoriert.

Being young is a wonderful thing. Nobody knows what path life has destined. If you believe everything is possible, you have courage without any concerns. But this happiness also closes its eyes and ignores it.
