FAQ and "What to Expect"

Thank you for your participation in the Broker Tools Expo. Here are important items for you to know to ensure you have the best positive experience and to make the most of the connections from the event.

The Broker Tools Expo runs from 10 am -1 pm on January 31, 2023 at 2931 1st Ave S in SODO.

LOAD IN

To assist in a booth set up we will be on-site at 2931 1st Ave S at Metropolist on Monday, January 30th from 2-4 pm if you'd like to drop any materials off or do any early setup. You are encouraged to take advantage of this time as Tuesday morning will be busier.

To load and unload, come to the back Garage Bay Door, place your items on a dolly or table, and then promptly move your vehicle. Don't worry about paid parking on this day.

We will be on-site on Tuesday, January 31st starting at 8 am and ask that all vendor set-ups be completed by 9:30 am for you to be ready for engagement by 9:45 am as attendees arrive.

If your booth set-up has electrical needs that should have been identified on your registration, we'll ensure you have an outlet. You'll need to supply your own extension cords so bring one just in case.

PARKING

Parking can be exciting in SODO. The best thing to do is plan to park in one of the paid lots south of Metropolist (should be around $8 a day). You'll be good for the day.

It is only free for 1 hour on the East side of the street on 1st Ave and only 2 hours on the West side so budgeting time for that will be important.

Please Bring the Following in your tool kit:

-Blue Painter's tape for any items you want to hang (no duct tape, 3M hooks are fine)

-Scissors, because you never know

-Batteries if applicable

-All of your marketing materials and goodies

-Bring a container to hold all the business cards you'll collect (we don't provide attendees emails, so you'll want to get everyone ' s card)

-Bring prizes and Merch for you to hand out as we will have drawings throughout the event (this goes over very well!)

-Extension cord if you need power

SOCIAL MEDIA

Please use the following hashtags for any social media efforts you conduct for the event. Please start posting to your social channels now to create a buzz. Feel free to use this opportunity to invite any of your clients to the event. Please see Heather at the check-in desk for a press pass.
