Pupils should revise the play text Machinal. They should answer both questions on the paper.

Pupils should revise the material in the first four topics:

• Eating patterns

• Energy

• Obesity

• CVD

FRENCH 1 hour 20 minutes

FURTHER MATHS 1 hour 30 minutes

All Pure content covered will be examined. Staff will tell students of all topics to be included.

An Applied test will take place in class in late November covering all content.

The overall score will be made up of 40% from the Applied test and 60% from Pure examination.

GEOGRAPHY 1 hour Physical – Global Biomes and Small-Scale Ecosystems Booklet Human – Population Booklet

GERMAN 1 hour 20 minutes

GOVERNMENT & POLITICS 1 hour 45 minutes

Students should revise materials relating to vocabulary from the following topics on Google Classroom and in Relationships booklet:

• Different family structures

• Roles, responsibilities and relationships within families

• Challenges for families

• Intergenerational issues

• Influences on young people, for example peers, family and friends

The Use of Language paper will cover: Nouns, Cases, Prepositions, Pronouns, Common regular and irregular verb forms in all tenses, Short translation into German.

Students will complete a Listening and Speaking examination prior to the examination period. Class teachers will advise on exact dates.

Students will complete a Literature essay either prior to or post the examination period. Class teachers will advise on exact date.

• Pressure Groups

• Functions of MPs: representative, legislative, scrutiny

• Effectiveness of MPs in carrying out these functions

• House of Lords

HISTORY 1 hour 30 minutes

Germany – revise technique for 10 mark & 20 mark question. Content of course up to 1933.

Russia – exam will be an 8 mark & 22 mark question. Content of course to include February & October Revolution, Civil War and Economic Policies.

MATHEMATICS 1 hour 30 minutes

All Pure content covered will be examined. Staff will tell students of all topics to be included.

An Applied test will take place in class in late November covering all Mechanics content.

The overall score will be made up of 30% from the Applied test and 70% from Pure examination.

MOVING IMAGE ARTS 1 hour 30 minutes

Section A: Classical Hollywood style: realism in Hollywood (one 10 mark fact file question and one scene analysis)

Section B: Formalism: (one 10 mark question and one scene analysis)

MUSIC 2 hours

Students should revise the following:

• Information on musical periods from Miss Houghton

• Vivaldi, Mozart

• Ol’ Man River, Soliloquy

• This is the Record of John, Zadok the Priest

PHYSICAL EDUCATION

1 hour 30 minutes

All of Unit 1 Anatomy and Physiology. The detailed list is on the L6th BTEC Google Classroom.

Revise all material completed on the following topics from both areas of the course

Acts of the Apostles: Context of Acts and Beginnings of the Church

Ethics: Biblical Ethics, Natural Moral Law, Utilitarianism

Students should revise all material in the following booklets:

• Student’s Winter examinations Support material

• Support vocabulary

SPANISH
