SECOND: This court has jurisdiction to hear this action for divorce. The Plaintiff has resided in New York State for a continuous period in excess of two years immediately preceding the commencement of this action. THIRD: The Plaintiff and Defendant were married to each other on June 26, 1996, in Kew Garden, New York. The marriage was not performed by a clergyman, minister or leader of the Society for Ethical Culture.
FOURTH: There are no children born of the marriage.
FIFTH: The grounds for divorce are as follows: Irretrievable Breakdown of the Relationship (DRL Sec. 170(7): The relationship between the Plaintiff and Defendant has broken down irretrievably for a period of at least six months.
SIXTH; There is no judgment in any court for a divorce and no other matrimonial action for divorce between the parties is pending in this Court or in any other court of competent jurisdiction.
SEVENTH: The parties are covered by the following group health plans: Plaintiff Group Health Plan: NONE Defendant Group Health Plan: NONE
EIGHT: Neither the wife nor the husband needs maintenance.
WHEREFORE, the Plaintiff demands judgment against the Defendant, dissolving the marriage between the parties to this action, and granting the following relief:

The parties have divided up the marital property, and no claim will be made by either party under equitable distribution.

The Board of Trustees of the Smithtown Special Library District (the “Library District”), in the Town of Smithtown, Suffolk County, New York is hereby authorized to (a) construct improvements to the Main Library Building located at 1 North Country Road, Smithtown, New York, which improvements are necessary due to catastrophic flooding resulting from a significant storm event in August 2024, at the estimated cost of not to exceed $16,500,000; and to expend therefor, including preliminary costs and costs incidental thereto and the financing thereof, and to reimburse prior expenditures made by the Library therefor, not to exceed in aggregate the estimated total cost $16,500,000, plus any additional amounts received by the Library in connection with the financing thereof, including but not limited to bond sale premiums, investment income on bond proceeds, grants, donations or charitable contributions; (b) to finance the cost of the Project through the issuance of bonds and/ or notes by the Town of Smithtown on behalf of the Library District in an amount not to exceed $16,500,000; (c) to cause the Town to assess, levy and collect therefor a tax payable in annual installments in an aggregate amount not to exceed $1,800,000 per year, which annual installment of the tax shall be in addition to the amount presently raised annually by tax for the Library District’s annual appropriations, over a maximum period of fifteen (15) years for the payment of all principal, interest, redemption premiums, if any, and expenses relating to the financing of said cost; (d) to assign and pledge all of said tax to the Town; and (e) to enter into loan agreements and any other agreements and/or to take any and all other actions incidental or necessary to the completion of the Project and the financing thereof.
Such Proposition shall appear on the ballot used for voting at said Special District Meeting Vote in substantially the foregoing form.
The voting will be conducted by paper ballots and the polls will remain open from 9:30 A.M. (Prevailing Time) to 9:00 P.M. (Prevailing Time) and as much longer as may be necessary to enable the voters, then present, to cast their ballots. Only qualified voters shall be permitted to vote at said Special District Meeting Vote.
PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE THAT every qualified voter of the Town of Smithtown who resides within the Smithtown Special Library District and is otherwise qualified to vote at a General Town Election shall be qualified to vote at said Special District Meeting Vote.
PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that applications for absentee ballots and early mail ballots will be available at each library building within the Smithtown Special Library District during regular business hours and may be printed from the Library’s website (www.smithlib.org). LOCAL EMERGENCY ORDER NO. 59-2025, EXTENDING LOCAL LAW NOS. 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15, 17, 19, 21, 23, 25, 27, 29, 31, 33, 35, 37, 39, 41, 43, 45, 47, 49, 51, 53, 55 AND 57 UNDER § 24 OF ARTICLE 2-B OF THE EXECUTIVE LAW
Allowing the County to Quickly Respond to the Potential Arrival of Asylum Seekers
I, Edward P. Romaine, Suffolk County Executive, in accordance with a Proclamation of a Local State of Emergency last issued on January 10, 2025, February 7, 2025, March 7, 2025, April 4, 2025 and May 2, 2025 do hereby find and order as follows:
Whereas, on August 2, 2021 the Federal Government issued an Order pursuant to 42 U.S.C. secs. 362 and 365 (the “Title 42 Order”) prohibiting migration into the United States by “covered noncitizens” traveling from Canada or Mexico; and
Whereas, the Title 42 Order expired on May 11, 2023 and upon its expiration, an anticipated surge of migration into the United States commenced resulting with the imminent arrival of individuals into New York State at an increased rate; and
Whereas, Suffolk County recognizes that the anticipated uncoordinated moving of people into the County of Suffolk will result in a severe housing crisis as a result of the limited number of temporary and permanent housing available in the County.
Now, therefore, I, Edward P. Romaine, Suffolk County Executive by the power vested in me by the Suffolk County Charter and the Laws of the State of New York and pursuant to Section 24 of Article 2-B of the New York State Executive Law, do hereby temporarily suspend or modify any statute, local law, resolution, order, rule or regulation or parts thereof, if compliance with such statute, local law, resolution, order, rule or regulation would prevent, hinder or delay action necessary to assist, aid or cope with the aforementioned State of Emergency, and I hereby order the following:
A. The formation of an intergovernmental team (the “intergovernmental team”) that includes the Chief Deputy County Executive, which shall coordinate to assist in meeting the needs of the County as a result of any potential housing crisis in the County.
B. All County Departments are required to work with the County Executive’s office to effectuate any emergency measures that need to be addressed as a result of this Order.
C. No hotel, motel, owner of a multiple dwelling, or shelter in Suffolk County is permitted to contract or otherwise engage in business with any other municipality (an “external municipality”) for the purpose of providing housing or accommodations for asylum seekers without the permission or coordination of Suffolk County. This prohibition extends to any person or entity participating in an external municipality’s government program, or a contract or service funded by an external municipality or acting on behalf of any external municipality or the State of New York.
D. In order to effectuate Suffolk County’s role in this emergency, all procurement policies for the purchase of equipment, supplies or contracts, relating to this emergency, are suspended, specifically: Suffolk County Code Chapters 1065 and 189; Article IV sections A 4-13 and 14; Article V section A5-1; Charter section C5-2 (C) and (L); and Section A5-8, Chap. 575,

Chap. 803, Chap. 353 and Local Law 41-2013 to the extent that they require execution of documentation of compliance; and all related procurement laws, rules, and regulations required to comply with this Emergency Order.
E. Regardless of any other remedy or relief brought by the County for any violation, the County Executive is authorized to direct the County Attorney to commence actions or proceedings in the name of the County, in a court of competent jurisdiction, to abate any violation of, or to enforce any provision of this Emergency Order.
F. Remedies Not Exclusive.
a. No remedy or penalty specified in this Emergency Order shall be the exclusive remedy or remedy available to address any violation described in this Executive Order.
b. Each remedy or penalty specified in the Emergency Order shall be in addition to, and not in substitution for or limitation of, the other remedies or penalties specified in this Emergency Order or in any other applicable law.
c. Any remedy or penalty specified in this section may be pursued at any time, whether prior to, simultaneously with, or after the pursuit of any other remedy or penalty specified in the Emergency Order or in any other applicable law.
d. In particular, but not by way of limitation, each remedy and penalty specified in this section shall be in addition to, and not in substitution for or limitation of, the penalties specified in New York Executive Law Section 24, and any remedy or penalty specified in this section may be pursued at any time, whether prior to, simultaneously with, or after the pursuit of any penalty specified in New York Executive Law Section 24.
G. Effective Date
This Executive Order shall take effect immediately.
And I further order, that all Suffolk County Departments, Agencies, and Divisions or other duly authorized law enforcement agencies take whatever steps are necessary to assist in performing such emergency measures as deemed necessary; and further order that
This order shall cease to be in effect five (5) days after promulgation or upon declaration by the County Executive that the state of emergency no longer exists, whichever occurs sooner. The County Executive nevertheless, may extend such orders for additional periods not to exceed five (5) days each during the pendency of the local state of emergency. Failure to obey this order is a criminal offense, punishable by law under New York State Executive Law § 24(5).

I, Edward P. Romaine, the Chief Executive of Suffolk County, in accordance with (3) Proclamation of a State of Emergency last issued on January 10, 2025, February 7, 2025, March 7, 2025, April 4, 2025 and May 2, 2025 for a storm occurring on or about August 19, 2024, pursuant to Section 24 of the New York State Executive Law and my power thereunder to suspend any local laws, ordinances, or regulations, do hereby:
Order, that due to emergency conditions and the continuing threat to the public health, safety and welfare of Suffolk County residents and visitors posed by coastal storms that caused severe damage and dangerous conditions, for which the State of New York has offered financial assistance to bring the emergency under control, and in furtherance of §103 (4) of the N.Y. General Municipal Law, the following procurement and contracting-related laws, regulations and rules are suspended as I deem necessary to address the emergency conditions as follows:
