Mercy’s VPA department offers a robust program which allows students to immerse themselves in a variety of creative pursuits. Our visual arts classes are modeled after college art programs, where you will master techniques, develop portfolios, and learn about museum curation and client relations.

Our world shifted immediately and drastically, but Mercy was prepared. We had previously piloted distance learning, and have been using digital platforms for years. When other schools took weeks or even months to transition, Mercy pivoted seamlessly.
Leaning on our faith and the gift of community, our faculty and staff utilized their skills and flexibility to ensure that there was no gap in curriculum. Students continually engaged with their teachers and classmates not only in academics, but also in spiritual, wellness, and extracurricular enrichment activities. Always rising to the occasion, Mercy Faculty and Staff maintained the real and intangible aspects of community that make our school so special, proving that distance is not a barrier.
