MAKING a difference Scholarship Benefit Dinner

Oh, What A Night!
It was a record breaking event with 374 attendees and raising more than $353,000!
We would like to express our deepest thanks to the generous sponsors and donors. 100% of all donations directly support Mercy students thanks to the Board of Directors who underwrote this dinner. It was inspiring to see the Board of Directors, Sisters, alumnae, parents, faculty, and friends of Mercy gather together in support of the Mercy Mission and to honor two long time faculty members, Eileen Horan and Mary Louise Castillo. These women have a combined 98 years of dedicated service to Mercy education, and were presented with the Catherine McAuley Award in recognition of their commitment to the vision of Catherine McAuley, the Sisters of Mercy and the education of young women.
The crowd was inspired by student speaker Gianna DeRaineri ‘18 who is now a freshman at the University of Portland, School of Nursing. Special thanks to the Making A Difference Honorary Committee and Clifton Clark of the San Francisco Marriott Waterfront for their hard work, support, and generosity.
Making A Difference provides urgently needed tuition assistance giving bright young women the opportunity for a Mercy education.
