Join Mercy's new alumnae platform!
We’re excited to announce that Mercy Connect, our new alumnae networking platform, is now live!
Mercy has created a new online home for alumnae, called Mercy Connect. Through this site, you'll be able to message other alums, engage in social and professional networking, and stay up-to-date with alumnae and Mercy community news. As more people join the platform, we'll also be able to generate new opportunities for engagement, including mentorship (peer-to-peer and alum-to-current student), a blog for sharing alumnae stories and experiences, and more.
Here are few ways that Mercy Connect captures the spirit of the alumnae community
Mercy women are global: The new Alumnae Platform provides the opportunity for users to reconnect in ways that go beyond social media. Through the Online Directory, alumnae can search for friends and fellow classmates using the map function, or by occupational field, college/university, and more. Contact information (mailing address, phone number, and email address) is completely private; geographic locations are only accessible to alumnae who are registered on the network.
Mercy women are incredibly talented: The Alumnae Platform includes a number of tools to promote professional networking and partnerships. Through the Career Center, users can share job openings and internship opportunities, as well as upload resumes and apply for open positions.
Mercy women like to have fun: Easy-to-access event listings to help you stay up-to-date on all of the activities happening within the Mercy community and register to attend. The Groups function offers additional opportunities for class representatives and other volunteers to manage smaller gatherings, based on class year and affinity areas.
Mercy women are generous: Alumnae have expressed great interest in having greater opportunities to give back to one another, and to Mercy students. Through the new platform, users will be able to indicate how they’d like to make an impact. Whether you’d like to provide short-term mentorship, review resumes for young professionals, volunteer as a class representative, or donate to a fundraising campaign, there are many ways to get involved!
