S PONS ORS HI PBROCHURE

DEAR SPONSOR On behalf of AAPI (American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin), it is our pleasure and honor to extend an early invitation to you for our 36th AAPI annual convention in Columbus, OH July 4-8, 2018, to be held at the Greater Columbus Convention Center. AAPI represents the interests of approximately 100,000 physicians in the United States of America – it is one of the largest physician organization in USA, second only to AMA (the Americal Medical Association); and the largest ethnic physician organization in the United States. At any given time at least one in every seven people in United States is touched by the care of a physician of Indian origin. AAPI is registered as a not-for-profit organization 501 (c)3 since 1982. We are honored to receive early acceptance from an impressive lineup of several prominent public leaders, experts in medicine, Nobel laureates, and academicians who are expected to attend along with 2000 delegates. In addition, the proceedings are planned to be webcast live to more than 100,000 physicians. 2018 will be the dawn of a new era in healthcare in the United States. The timing is excellent for a rich discussion, education, and exploration of the changes and its impact on healthcare providers, professionals, payers and consumers. AAPI plans to make the 36th annual convention a very dynamic conference that will not only offer a platform for this discussion but discussions of policies that would lead to solutions that can be implemented. This convention offers unique opportunities for organizations such as yours for taking advantage of its mammoth reach, by sponsoring topics, sessions or speakers for your cause and area of expertise. In 2018 we are also planning to host a special CEO forum. Innovation and technology is key to advancement in medicine. Furthermore, with healthcare business facing pressure far beyond escalating costs, innovations in healthcare technology are vital to improving implementation of patient care. We would like to invite you to this forum and would be honored if you share your vision in innovative healthcare products and solutions with our members. We look forward to your support and presence at this groundbreaking event. Please take a moment to review the sponsorship opportunities and packages in this brochure. We will be glad to discuss additional sponsorship options and even customize them for your organization if needed. Sincerely, Gautam Samadder, MD President, AAPI 2017-2018

ABOUT AAPI CONVENTION

The AAPI Annual Convention is an annual celebration of all physicians of Indian origin in the United States. The professionalism and academic achievements of this diaspora allow for cutting edge CME for up to 10-12 hours in each convention. In the past Nobel laureates such as James D. Watson, internationally renowned physicians experts such as Dr. Ralph A Defronzo, Dr. Paresh Dandona and more, US surgeon general Dr. Vivek Murthy, ECFMG CEO, have graced the convention. AAPI conventions are much more than simply CME conventions. There has been representation from CEOs of medical technology, hospital systems, AMA and ECFMG organizations which allows for a unique platform for these representatives to interact and contribute not just to the Indian-American medical diaspora but the US medical system as a whole. AAPI conventions have served as the platform to host keynote speakers and dignitaries such as Dr. APJ Kalam, the beloved people’s President of India; Mr. Bill Clinton, President of the United States; Ms. Hillary Clinton, Secretary of State; Mr. Dan Quayle, Vice President of United States; Mr. Amitabh Bachchan, Cine Artist and more. Finally, AAPI conventions evenings typically conclude with entertainment and dancing with musical extravaganzas put up by famous artists from Bollywood who often perform shows all across the world and USA – Shreya Ghoshal, Sunidhi Chauhan, Sonu Nigam, Shankar Mahadevan, to name a few. This is a unique opportunity to extend your message and reach out to thousands of attendees across the USA all under one roof.
