May 28 marks the start of our pool season and all the fun events that come along with it. Are you ready to jump into summer? We are!

WELCOME EMILIE TO BCC!

Please join us in welcoming our new Director of Aquatics Emilie Combs to Baltimore Country Club! Emilie grew up in Calvert County, MD along the Chesapeake Bay, so it was only natural for her to have a love of water at a young age. After teaching herself to swim at the age of three, her parents signed her up for the swim team at Calvert County Country Club. Emilie’s first job was as a lifeguard at Safe Harbor Zahnisers marina in Solomons, MD. Her love of swimming led her to South Carolina, where she served two years in the US Marine Corps. She raised her three daughters in Tega Cay, SC. She got back into aquatics by becoming a lifeguard at the YMCA. Emilie eventually became a manager for a pool management company serving 169 pools in the Charlotte area. Apart from swimming, Emilie also enjoys playing tennis, water skiing, and bowling. ◆

RESERVATION REMINDERS

• Guests are permitted for pool use and pool dining (lunch and dinner) Monday-Sunday • Pool use will not be permitted without a reservation • Reservations can be made up to one week in advance • The maximum number of individuals per reservation is six • Walk-ins will not be permitted at this time • Members will not be permitted to reserve consecutive time slots in advance, but will be able to request an additional consecutive time slot in person at the pool front desk or by calling 410.554.8022 (based on waitlist availability) • Members, guests, Au Pairs, and babysitters are required to complete the Health Questionnaire before visiting the pool • Reservations must be canceled within 24 hours to not accrue a $25 fee. Members will not be penalized in the event of inclement weather or if their reservation reduces in number • Your reservation will be held for one hour before your reservation is given to a party on the waitlist. If you are running late, please call the pool front desk at 410.554.8022 to notify our staff.

The Pool Complex will close daily from 1:30pm to 2:00pm for cleaning and disinfecting. All members must leave the Pool Complex
