Hellas Rally Raid Newsletter – March 2018 Necessary documents 1. For those who wish to participate in the Rally and also classify for the European championship please download from here the FIM entry form http://www.fim-europe.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/03/FIM-EUROPEGENERIC-ENTRY-FORM_Tout-Terrain-Rally-Cup.docx Fiil in your name and the FIM category you belong to and mail to info@hellasrally.org with the subject HellasRally – FIM Class 2. Those who want to be classified in European championship need a local racing license and a starting permission or an FIM license is required 3. For those who do not wish to be part of European championship please proceed with the on line entry form and follow the normal procedure No license needed but you need a personal insurance valid explicitely for Hellas Rally 20-27 May 2018. If not available from your side one can be bought during administration. 4. A scanned copy of all your needed documents is required to be mailed to us until 10 of May 2018. Any failure to do so will hold a penalty of 100 euros and will delay the scrutinnering proccess for all of us. During the administration process the original documents must be presented and in case of missing no entry will be accepted. 5. All bikes must have a scanned paper copy of the license plate installed on the bike and not the metallic one.
SSV and buggies A diffrent route will be designed for the SSV for better safety and better handling of time schedule. Also more fun for the 4wheelers will be available without getting out of the bikes their fun. Please note that SSV participating to Hellas Rally need to be CE certified and any higher specs will be accepted. Necessary equipment are: 1. Minimum 2 fire extinguishers 2kg CO2 must be installed to the vehicle easily approached and handled by the crew. 2. Seat harness CE or higher must be in perfect condition 3. Helmets and gogles in case of non wind screen. Fuul face helmets are acceptable too Accommodation Even if the procedure with the hotels in Olympia was a task for mathematic analysts we have a surplus of rooms in the City available for you. Rally Lite Class and Adventure Raid For those who use other than normal GPS devices like Tripy or Magelan or TomTom must have with them the respective software and cables needed for the GPS data to be uploaded. Each device must be distinctively marked with the name and race number of the competitor. Otherwise will be considered as unknown and will be ignored.
Bivouac Our bivouac for 2018 is an archeological site. Therefore we must be very sensitive with the environment around bivouac and how we habdle wastes. 1. All teams must have their area covered by synthetic water repellent or waterproof material 2. Must have plastic bags for waste disposal 3. Separate bags for chemicals and other dangerous materials The organization will provide special oil, chemicals and fluids disposal tanks and carbage bins around, also your old tires will be collected on a bidaily basis for recycling by local authorities. 4. No bike wash is available in the bivouac area but in 2 gas stations situated at 1km from bivouac Please note also that due to distance of bivouac to hotels, no major sanitary facilities will be installed. There are toilets available around but no showers. Free camping is not allowed in close distance. But there are low cost organised camp sites with Caravan and Motorhome facilities too. Its cost is included in the entry fee and is power independent. You carry the device in your pocket (this year there will be specific places dictated) away from metallic objects, aluminium blankets and other gsm devices. •
A distress beacon is included in the device

You charge the device every night under your responsibility.

The device is controlled by us remotely 100% and is switched off at 23:00 daily and must be switched on by you 30min before your start.

No discharged device will be allowed to start the race and in case of replacement because of your own negligence a replacement one will be provided under 150 euros penalty.

Please note that during administration a warranty deposit of 150 euros is paid in cash and returned when the device is returned in the condition it was delivered.
Android Application Under development You will be provided by an Android app with the important info of the race on daily basis.
