Until Monday 6th September, throughout the day Barley Church Flower Tower Barley Church, Church End, Barley, Herts SG8 8JP Draped with 1450 flowers knitted, crocheted and stitched by the villagers, the church’s 15 metre tower now looks amazing! Free but donations in support of the church’s fund-raising campaign welcomed at www.justgiving.com/fundraising/barleyflowertower.

Saturday 4th September, 11.00am to 4.00pm 20th Annual Buntingford Classic Car Show Buntingford Town Centre SG9 9AF Classic cars, trucks, tractors and bikes of all ages in historic high street setting. Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th September, 10.00am to 5.00pm Shuttleworth Collection Vintage Working Weekend Old Warden Aerodrome, Hill Lane, Biggleswade SG18 9DX Vintage steam and working vehicles and entertainment on both days with annual vintage flying show on the Sunday. Wednesday 8th September, 10.00am to 12noon Wildflowers of Wandlebury Wandlebury Country Park, Gog Magog, Cambridge CB22 3AE Gentle guided walk to learn about summer wild flowers at Wandlebury.
