Throughout June The Fitzwilliam Museum, Trumpington St., Cambridge CB2 1RB Cambridge’s famous museum is open again and hosting various exhibitions during June. ‘The Human Touch’, with works of art spanning 4,000 years, explores how we connect with the world through touch and ‘Scent from Nature’ features watercolours from their exceptional botanical collection. Throughout June Fulbourn Fen, Stonebridge Lane, Fulbourn, CB21 5BW An ancient grassland bursting with flowers, birds and insects. Six species of orchid grow here - can you spot them? Early summer is just the time to look. Small car park on Stonebridge Lane. Free. Dogs on a lead.

Throughout June The Fry Art Gallery, 9b Museum St, Saffron Walden CB10 1BN Lovely small gallery featuring works by Edward Bawden, Eric Ravilious and other Great Bardfield artists. Paintings, prints and decorative designs. Open again with admission by pre-booked timed slots (limit of 12 people per hour) until June 20th. Saturday 5th June, 11.00am to 12.00noon Journey into Space, Alconbury Weald - The Watch Office, The Boulevard, Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire PE28 4XA Paul Hill from Sirius Astronomy presents a fast-moving, interactive show, explaining the science behind how to get people safely to and from space. Discover how spacesuits keep you alive and how to survive re-entry into the atmosphere. For families with children aged 5+.
