Meldreth Walking Market
10.00am—3.00pm Sunday 27th June As I write this, we already have 24 stalls for the Walking Market and it isn’t too late to get yourself one. Reservations can be taken up to Sunday 20th June which is the map completion deadline. The Village Hall will also probably be available for stall set up if enough people show an interest in this; with a maximum charge of £25 per stall. There are a few people from outside the village who would like to participate so do please get in touch if you have space - a garden or driveway with toilet access - that you can offer for them to set up. I am very grateful to the people who have so far generously offered prizes for the raffle, the proceeds of which will be split between Holy Trinity and the purchase of a specialist chair for the Intensive Care Unit at Addenbrooke’s Hospital. So far, there is a box of locally grown organic vegetables, Esse and garage vouchers. More will be very gratefully received, goods or services. Would anyone like to offer an hour’s gardening for example? Do please come and support the people who are having stalls. See the poster on the back of the magazine for more details.
