Relaxed Performances

Concert series specially curated for audiences with sensory or access requirements

Closing the 2025 Relaxed Performance series, Amelia Evans’ A-Z of Jazz was the perfect antidote for a rainy day. The ensemble’s smooth and heartfelt performance had the audience tapping along. Next year’s Relaxed Performance concert series will be announced in late November with a wonderful mix of classical and contemporary artists

VCE Young Artist Development Program

The culmination of a full year of workshops, mentoring and instrumental lessons, the Accelerando musicians gathered this month for a rehearsal in the lead up to their Salon Recital in December The group worked their way through the funking grooves of Judas by Esperanza Spalding, arranged for the ensemble by Chris Pickering

Day-time Open Rehearsals

This month’s Free Music session in the Primrose Potter Salon featured the wonderful Tango Mundo treating the audience to a range of traditional and original tangos from all across the world.

Many left with a spring in their step and commented on the group's engaging music and conversation.
