If you’ve been looking for an easy and inexpensive way to get you and your family into the holiday spirit, this is it!

The City of Buffalo will be hosting its first annual Winter Festival in Delaware Park from 10a.m.-5p.m. each day, and Santa will be there to hear your child’s wish-list from noon-4p.m. both days. With Buffalo Bills and Sabres present you can meet our local sports stars, and the SPCA’s petting zoo will keep you and your family constantly entertained!

If you’re worried about the cold—not to fear. We’ll have several outdoor heaters cooking, and various heated shelters. For those ready to face the cold, an igloo building and ice sculpture contest will be ongoing the entire weekend, with winners and prizes announced at 2 p.m. on Sunday.

No matter your choice of activity, don’t forget to bring canned and boxed food items (or whatever change you can spare) to donate to the Food Pantry of Western New York—it’s the best gift you can give this holiday season!
