HISTORY, Culture Map

Our area offers a destination for arts, history and culture that can be experienced at your own pace. You can take your own Colonial Wars Walking Tour any time of year or stroll the Glens Falls Arts District. Scan the QR code to view the online Warren County History and Culture Mapper to craft your own historical or cultural adventure with a list of self-guided tours that incorporate history and culture. Several museums featuring both history and the arts are open year-round. (See pp 29-31 ) Live music and theatrical performances fill our events calendar in every season.

In the summer, rent a boat or hire one of the charter boats to get out on the lake and do some fishing. We also love going mining in North Creek for garnet. In the winter, go see an Adirondack Thunder game.
