I remember the exact moment I realized how close I was to Medline’s products. While I was working as a consultant with Medline, my son was diagnosed with cancer—a parent’s nightmare. Checking into the clinic at Children’s Hospital in Philadelphia (CHOP) feeling sick to my stomach and barely able to talk, I looked at the tissue box on the counter and saw the Medline logo. Fast-forward two weeks, my son had a vascular port put in for chemotherapy. Every time we were in the hospital, the nurse brought the kit to access it and again I saw the Medline logo. As a mom supporting her son through cancer treatment during a pandemic, I conducted my meetings with Medline from my son’s hospital room. When he was discharged and sent home with bags of hydration fluids and tubing, again I was surrounded by Medline. had never felt so connected to the work I was doing. Just after my son’s bone marrow transplant at the University of Michigan, I was offered a position with Medline. jumped on the opportunity, and today I’m so proud to work with a company that helped me support my family and, more importantly, helped our healthcare professionals save my son’s life.

When I had kidney surgery, I saw Medline products all over my hospital room at Stanford Hospital. Since I needed gauze, tape and adhesive remover, I ordered them when I came home from the hospital. I also used Medline's sensitive tape since my skin was sensitive to the tape the hospital provided. Working in Customer Service, it's always nice to relate to customers when they ask about the Medline products I've used before.

My grandfather was put into a wheelchair a number of years back due to his weak knees. Since he spent most of his time in that chair, it was crucial that it was comfortable. He was given a Medline chair, and it gave me such joy once I started at the company to know he was using one of our products. I continued to purchase cushions to make him as snug as possible. He eventually had an adjustable hospital bed with a Medline mattress that he found to be very supportive. Seeing him using products from the company I work for gave us both a sense of immense joy and pride.

My daughter used a disposable pediatric gown during her last checkup. It is now her doctor coat during all pet checkups.

About a month after starting at Medline, I tore my Achilles tendon playing football! I scored the touchdown but knew something was seriously wrong with my foot. I went to urgent care, and they recommended surgery immediately to repair the tendon. When I arrived at the surgery center, a Medline truck was unloading supplies. I knew I was in good hands! During the pre-op procedure, I got to see a bunch of Medline items from my division, and I talked with the surgeons and nurses about the products. It was awesome knowing the items I work with on a daily basis were used for my surgery. I am fully recovered, and I am thankful Medline provides high-quality products!

I have borrowed a Medline Transport Chair so my mom could go to Lincoln Park Zoo with our family. I purchased a turtle nebulizer for my kids, which alleviated any fears about using it. Having kids, the SilvaSorb gel always comes in handy as it heals cuts and stops burning sensations so fast! The Medline folding chairs are always comfy in the summer/fall to use when we're outside watching kids practice baseball. I can go on forever, but the last thing is the awesome Medline gear like the beanie.
